Chapter 14

Aaliyah's P.O.V

Did he just ask me out?? But he hated me just yesterday. What happened last night that made him click? He isn't taking me anywhere until he tells me what happened last night. "Tell me what happened last night that made you all of the sudden want to take me out on a date. I deserve to know Jason." I whispered "What happened last night is none of your concern Aaliyah. You don't need to know."

"Yes I do Jason. According to Jordan, I could have died last night. You better tell me Jason or I will say no to your offer Mr. McCann." I raised my eyebrow and so did he, "Is that a challenge Ms. Stephenson?"

"No. As a matter of fact it's more like a deal- You tell me what happened last night, then I will go with you" he blinked and turned his head to one side "And if I don't Ms. Stephenson?" "You won't get to take me out Mr. McCann" I don't know what we are doing with the Mr. and Ms. but I kind of like it. His eyes widened then made that cheeky face with the wicked smile he always makes "As you wish Ms. Stephenson" He adjusts so he can see me easier "When you got drunk, these three men one of them being Daniel, took you and Sam. If Jordan and I weren't there, you two would have been kidnapped and could possibly been killed. When Jordan and I went out to the back of the club, Daniel made it very clear that I had forgotten about his email. That I don't care about that what I cared more about was you or my sister being shot. I said somethings, you said somethings, and Daniel said somethings-long story short, Jordan was shot and so was I. I fought Daniel to get him to let go of you. One of Daniels men died and Daniel got away. We have to be on full alert at all times-which reminds me we are staying here for dinner I'm not risking anything especially after last night." he shakes his head and looks at his wounded shoulder.

"What did I say?" I whispered. Maybe I could find out why he clicked all of the sudden "You said somethings that I can't tell whether it is truthful or not Aali." he gazes up at me and blinks innocently. "Jase, what did I say?"

"You said some things about me... You said you wore the dress for me. And I don't know it clicked in my head that I actually care for you. And thats why I want to take you out, show you what I'm feeling" he made a really cheeky smile and winked at me playfully which made me giggle and look down. "Stop hiding your face beautiful" he said softly lifting my chin.

"Come Ms. Stephenson, lets go back outside and don't worry about Jordan. He's just in a bad mood." he holds out his hand and helps me up then embraces me in a hug. His warmth against made me feel the familiar feeling of lust towards him again. He smelt so divine. I could hug him all day long. "Aali you can let go now its been five minutes" he laughs "I don't want to let go." he laughed again "I said you can let go. I never said you had to" and he hugged me tighter. When I let go, we headed outside and I enjoyed the rest of my day not saying one word

Jason's P.O.V

Aaliyah was gonna come down the stairs at any moment and I was beyond nervous. I was sweating like a pig. I've never been nervous for anything! Especially a date! But she is the most exquisite girl I have ever seen so therefore, yes I did have a reason to be nervous. "Jason you look like you were just in a sauna in that suit are you ok?" I saw sam coming down the stairs "Ya I'm fine. Just a little nervous." She raised an eyebrow at me and shook her head "Ok! So I'm REALLY nervous. I've never been nervous for anything in my life." Just as I said that there she was walking down the stairs in a long white dress that dragged on the steps as she walked down. Oh my god I don't think I can make it through the night without drooling. She looked as beautiful as ever. I don't think she could top this at the moment. "Jase? You ok? You've been staring at me for quite a long time." I see her flush. "Uhm y-yes. Aali you look so beautiful you took my breath away. I don't think I can stand a full night with you. I might drool all over the table" She giggled her adorable giggle and in all honesty I can't believe I said that to her. But she laughed though so that didn't make it that bad "Thank you for sharing Jason." Sam rolled her eyes "Now get out! Go show her what you did!" Aaliyah looked at me in surprise and I put my hand on the small of her back and started to walk as she followed "Every princess deserves the royal treatment Ms. Stephenson" I whispered in her ear as I lead her through the house and outside.
