Ms. Nerd Meets Mr. Popular

The First Day Part 1

My parents kept me in their mansion my whole life, I've never had freedom once since they wanted me to be protected. I always got to have anything I've wanted except for freedom. It's just me in a huge mansion, no kids around. The only time people are ever over are my dad's dinner parties, but I was always kept in my room when that happens.

Oh, I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Elsa Delle. The daughter of the richest man in the world. Let me tell you about myself. I have platinum blonde hair, pale skin, blue eyes, and am very pretty, I'm now about 16 and have been homeschooled my whole life. Yeah, it sounds pretty boring. The only thing I want is freedom. I have one secret though that not even my mom or dad knows, I have ice and snow powers, I can totally control them but I haven't used my powers much, I only make a snowflake or two when I'm bored though.

Right now I'm set on doing something that I've never asked before but today I'm ready. I'm 16 and I'm old enough to take care of myself so I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna ask my parents to go to high school. Here in Burgess of course though, I'm really nervous but excited at the same time.

I take a deep breath and walk towards my dad's room and knock. The door opens and I look down, when I feel delicate hands on my arms I look up, my mom is right there with a concerned look over face. I shakily say,"C-can I ask you and dad something?"

My mom smiles and says sure,"You can ask for anything and we'll give it to you! Come in!" I walk in slowly and sit on a chair, mom and dad both sit in a couch in front of me and ask,"What would you like?"

I take a deep breath and ask,"I would like to go to high school, please? My birthday is coming up and I'm old enough. I really want to see the world, I will change my identity, my appearance and name. Please?"

Mom and dad look at each other and say,"We've been thinking about this earlier and we think that you are old enough so yes, but remember change your name identity and appearance, got it?"

I practically jumped and yelled,"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" They smiled and hugged me back, then I turn around and say,"Did you already sign me in?" They nod and I say,"When does it start?" They say,'Tomorrow."

I smile, run to my room and start packing anything that I would need for school, then I flop on my bed and fall asleep smiling. I wake up with the sun shining through my window. I run to my bathroom, take a shower, dry my hair, change into a long sleeved polo shirt and a skirt and sweater, style my hair into a braided bun and run downstairs grabbing breakfast.

I put on my fake glasses, and turn to my mom saying,"Hey mom, my fake name is Ella Winters, what do you think?" She smiles, hugs me and says I love it Ella. Then I grab my backpack, run outside and hop into a slug bug and drive to Burgess High School.

I slowly walk inside and head to the office. I tell the lady,"Hi, I'm Ella Winters and I'm new here, can I get my schedule?" She smiles and hands it to me. I turn around and see a girl with golden blonde hair in a braid, she has emerald green eyes, glasses and is holding some books.

She says,"Hi I'm new here too and I couldn't help but here your conversation Ella, what's your locker number?" I said,"356, and what's your name?" She says,"Oh, I forgot, I'm Punzie Summers! Ooh, my locker is 357, want to go together?"

I nod and we walk there, we start a conversation about a lot of things and we become good friends and we just met, sooner or later I think I'm gonna tell her who I really am but for now I'm gonna get to know her better. We look at each others schedules and we notice that we have the same classes. This day couldn't get any better, when we head off to our first class I sit in the back row with Punzie next to me. Then a boy with white hair walks in and says,"Sorry I'm late,"

He then flashes a smile to everyone and the all girls nearly faint except for Punz and me, then the teacher says,"No problem Mr Frost," He then looks at Punz and I and says,"Ah, we have two new girls this year, please come up to introduce yourself?"

I get up with Punz following me and say,"Hi, I'm Ella Winters and I'm new here since I've been homeschooled my whole life," Punzie then says,"Hello, I am Punzie Summers and I'm new here too, I've been homeschooled my whole life just like Ella,"

The teacher smiles and says,"Welcome to our school," Then the teacher gets a call and answers it. When he's not noticing that same boy with the white hair says,"Hey nerds, you're not gonna fit here but might as well go back from where you came from,"

The whole class snickers quietly and I narrow my eyes and go up to him and say,"Don't even think about bullying Punz and I cause you have no idea who I am or where I come from, and you don't want to mess with me. Understand?"

He gulps and nods since my death glares even scare myself. Then Punz and I walk to the back. Classes go by fast and it's finally lunch, Punz and I walk outside onto the grass and we start eating our lunch.

Punzie asks me,"So where do you live and tell me more bout yourself and I'll tell you more about myself?"

I take a deep breath and say quietly I will but it's a long story and you can't tell anyone, not even your own parents, do you promise because if anyone finds out I'm dead," She nods very concerned.
