KIM SEOKJIN;
"You're insane to think he'll take you back with open arms, Jisoo." He sternly said giving his little sister a confused look. Jisoo rolled her eyes before flipping the page of the magazine she was scanning through as she waited for Seokjin to finish getting his haircut.
"Why are models so scrawny these days? Seokjin have you seen me before? I surely didn't flaunt my apparel like this and why is it all pointed to their heads--"
"Jisoo it's a magazine mostly about hairstyles, put it down and listen to me." He scolded with his teeth gritted. Jisoo groans before turning her head to face him.
"Did you hear what I said?"
Oh Jisoo did hear him and she so much didn't need to hear it again.
"I know, Seokjin. I know what I did, I
know what it cost and I know what it did to him, but did you hear me too? I'm going back when I can...scratch that when I will and that's it."And that was Seokjin's problem, why would Jisoo do so even if she knows that both of them will experience the same pain either way.
Seeing each other, it'll bring back hers.
Him refusing her, it'll hurt her.
Seeing her, it'll hurt him.
Why can't they just stay away from that? He thought.
'But that'll mean they'd be staying away from each other...which will be the least painful alternative.'
"Jisoo, I know you're trying to seem like it'll be okay and you'll be fine but do yourselves a favor and pick the least that'll hurt the both of you. That's all I'm saying."
She smiled sincerely, thanking that she has an older brother.
"I know, it'll all be quick...whatever may happen."
PARK JIMIN;
"Do you think they'll get back together?" Chaeyoung asked as she tied her hair in a low ponytail, preparing to brush her teeth.
Jimin who just got up shrugged and sunk inside the bathub. He was stressed with Taehyung, Jungkook, Work...but not her.
He opened her eyes to see Chaeyoung brushing her teeth while humming in front of the mirror.
He closed his eyes again before resting his head on the wall. The past week was him working hard for the promotion he deserves, helping Taehyung pretend that he'll be okay which he knows is bad but they'll get there, to the real part.
And stuck listening to Jungkook's chatter about the other side of all of it.
Meanwhile, he was glad that Chaeyoung spoke very little of it. Easing the eerieness.
Jimin felt the water move inside the tub making him open his eyes slowly, seeing Chaeyoung with her hair up smiling at him.
"Tough week?"
He smiled before pulling her closer then he rested his head on top of hers.
"You can't even imagine, Chae. Jisoo and Taehyung? They're hopeless because they're stupid strong-willed hurt cowards, and I can't exactly blame them for it. On the other hand Jungkook's having a hard time keeping his mouth shut which by the way I think he should--"
Chaeyoung rose a little to face him and then slowly cupped his face and gave his lips a soft peck.
"That's enough, okay? We're all adults with our own conflicts. They'll figure it out. Do you see me worrying about Unnie? Just be there for them when they need you."
