Return Home
My excitement grew
As we pulled up in front of my house
Grabbed my suitcase and practically flew
I opened the back gate with widened eyes
For a new dog came bounding
With my mom behind
The white dog glistened with big grown eyes
And even though I was happy, I really hate the flies
That kept flying by.
This return home will not be forgotten
For a new family member joined our family.
Neltharion my big white dog accepted me as I, him.
Roller Coaster
This is it, it's the end.
Oh dear help me God as I make my ascend.
We near the top, then rock back and forth.
My eyes widen in fear,
An uninvited butterfly entered my stomach, then flips
A scream enters my throat, along with a single tear
Then we take a dive
Adrenaline pumps through my veins
Endless screams were heard, but I thrived
Loops and turns, then another ascend to my death
I see the end of the track, and I'm out of breath
One finale scream of joy and terror,
Then an abrupt stop to get off.
These both really happened in my life. The roller coaster one was about my first ride on an roller coaster at the age of 8 or 9 I believe. Then the dog one was when I came home from California.
