Lukes POV
I should've pulled away from that girl quicker. She asked for a kiss on the cheek and turned her head as I went in placed my lips on her cheek. The worst part was that I didn't pull away straight away. I closed my eyes and pretended it was Mia but it was far from that. It was missing the sparks I usually feel. As soon as I pulled away I looked straight at where Mia was. I had been staring at her only moments before, the way she interacted with the fans was great. The look on Mia's face confirmed that she had seen the kiss and I wish I could erase that from my memory. The pure pain on her face made me want to be sick.
I remember the one piece of relationship advice my mum told my brothers and I when we were growing up.
'You can only make a girl cry so many times before she realises you're not worth her tears anymore.'
"Mia please," I choke out but she doesn't stop. I watch her storm out of the bathroom with tears rushing down her face.
I can't believe how less than twenty four hours ago we were perfectly fine and now we are both in tears and heartbroken.
I slide my back down against the wall and ignore the stares I get from ladies coming into use the restroom. I close my eyes and remember all the good times I've had with Mia. I sit there reminiscing for a while before I remember that we are at a meet and greet and I'm letting my fans down. I wipe my tears and slide my sunglasses back on to cover my red eyes.
"Where were you?" Jai asks as I sit back down.
"And where's Mia?" Daniel asks.
"I don't know I've fucked up so bad man," I quietly admit to Jai before telling Skip that I have no idea. They both give me a look as if to say you will be explaining everything later. I nod and focus on the fans in front of us. I force myself to smile but Mia is the only thing on my mind and I'm determined to find a way to win her back.
Mia's POV
"One iced coffee for Mia," a Starbucks worker calls out.
"Thank you," I say taking my drink and sitting down at a table. I can't believe what Luke and I have come to. A couple of days ago we were arguing about who loved who the most and now we are over. I sip on my drink and mindlessly look out the window when an idea strikes me.
I need my best girl friend right now and I said I would come to London to visit her sometime soon so why not go now? I have an emergency credit card and I could get my ticket back to home refunded.
I catch a cab back to the hotel and send James a text saying that I'm at the hotel. I will ring him later and tell him my plan when I'm at the airport.

Two hours later :
"I'm really doing it," I whisper to myself while dialling James number. My hands shake as I press call.
"Mia where the hell are you?" Beau answers.
"I'm at the airport," I reply slowly.
"We've been looking for you," James exclaims worriedly. He must have the phone on speaker.
"Well I'm fine," I say.
"Why are you at the airport?" Jai asks.
"I'm going to London for a bit, I've left your plane tickets in Luke's suitcase and I'll see you guys when I get back," I say.
"Be careful," Beau reminds me.
Sighing I say "I will." They all say goodbye except for Luke but then again I don't expect Luke to say goodbye to me.
"This is the last boarding call for Flight 482 to London," a monotone voice says over the loud speaker. I guess this is me. I get my passport and ticket out of my purse and board the plane. I'm now a matter of hours away from seeing my best friend.
The plane ride wasn't fun. I was beside an elderly couple who argued the whole ride. I couldn't help but imagine what Luke and I would've been like if we grew old together. I silently cried myself to sleep that night while listening to all the sad songs on my phone. I was more than thrilled when we landed and I was so close to seeing India.
I text India asking for her address which has probably spoiled the surprise of me showing up on her doorstep but oh well. She replies immediately with the address and all sorts of questions as to why I want to know. I let out a giggle and wave out to a cab to take me to India's. It's only a ten minute drive from the airport. I pay the driver and thank him before practically running up the path to India's house. I knock on the door and hear her call out I'll just be a minute. I reply with "take your time Indie."
"Mia?!" She screams and I hear her heavy footsteps run to the door.
"India," I scream and attack her in a hug. We rock back and fourth in her doorway for a while before we pull apart.
"Why are you here?" She asks with a grin on her face.
"It's a long story," I give her a half smile and her face immediately drops.
"Was it Luke? I saw pictures of you leaving a club crying,"
I nod slowly.
"I told him I'd rip his balls off if he hurt you," she hisses.
"It was both of us," I admit. She steps aside and we go inside. I put my luggage in her bedroom and we sit in the living room. I spill everything, me kissing Jai to Luke kissing a fan. India pulls me into a tight embrace and rubs my back soothingly.
"Are you guys done? Like forever?" She questions.
"I don't know," I say shaking my head. Truth is I really don't know, first of all he was angry at me then I was angry at him and he was trying to apologise. I don't even know where we stand anymore. I guess I'll just have to wait and find out.
"It seems like you girls could use some snacks?" Sarah chimes poking her head around the corner.
"Sarah," I excitedly say. I jump up off the couch and run and give her a big hug. She's practically like my third mum after my mum and Gina of course.
"Mia it's so good to see you," she gushes.
"You too," I smile.
"Muuuuuuum," India groans. "She's my friend," she jokes.
"I know I know I'll go fetch you girls some snacks," she says and makes her way back to the kitchen I assume. I take a seat back on the sofa and Indie turns on the television. We settle on pretty little liars and Sarah brings us a freshly baked batch of chocolate chip cookies. For a moment I even forget all about my dramas with Luke and I just enjoy the time spent with my best friend.
