One week later, Koneko saw that most of the house was unpacked.
Their Burmese Python, Magic, had already explored the house with Blink and Owl, their bobcats.
Magic was almost 20ft long and 180 pounds. He wasn't just long either, he was thick in width. He wasn't dangerous at all.
At least to them.
He was a constrictor, so he trapped his prey into his coils and squeezed the life out of them. It was amazing how he never once tried to eat Blink or Owl. He often wrapped himself around the bobcats but never ate them. He also wrapped himself around her and her mom frequently, and Koneko never minded because she felt so warm and sleepy when he did.
He has been with them for as long as Koneko could remember. Even before Blink and Owl.
She loved all of her animals, and she could tell that her mother loved them too. There were cat flaps on every door, including the front and back in case they wanted to go out and they kept the window near the backyard open for Magic.
Right now, he was following her to the mailbox. This week, the acceptance/rejection letters were supposed to be sent out to everyone.
Koneko was a little nervous, but she was confident in her abilities. She got at least 50 points, which was a great amount in the limit of ten minutes.
"Chaton! Le courrier ne se fera pas tout seul! (1)" Her mother shouted from an open window by the front door. Koneko stuck her tongue out, and her mother, being the adult she was, stuck her tongue out in the same fashion, shutting the window afterwards.
Koneko huffed, sighing when she felt Magic nudging her arm with his head. She opened the mailbox and just grabbed everything that was inside. Walking towards the house, she flipped through the envelopes until she saw it.
To: Beaulieu Koneko
From: U.A. HighShe hurried, placing the rest of the letters on a table in the front hall. She almost tripped over Magic with how fast she was running upstairs.
"Is there a fire I didn't know about?" Her mother mused out loud in the kitchen.
"Letter came!" Koneko shouted in response before closing the door.
Owl perked his head up before resting once more from his spot on her beanbag chair. Koneko took a seat at her desk with her computer on it. She took a deep breath before opening the letter.

Izuku couldn't believe his ears.
He made it into Yuuei!
He made it into U.A.
This was an absolute dream come true for him. From zero to hero. He had no quirk. He was quirkless. Useless. Deku.
Meeting All Might was a miracle. He gave Izuku hope. Will. Something to live for.
He had All Might's quirk! Granted he couldn't use it very well, but having it was something. Chances of him getting a quirk before were nonexistent. Now it was absolute.
He felt the tears rolling down his cheeks. He had to tell his mother! He had to tell someone!
Koneko
He wondered if her offer was still open. He knew that she got in. She was one point behind Kacchan, who was number one.
He never went to a friend's house before. Well, Kacchan didn't count.
Wait, friend?
Was she his friend? He just met her! And he got very nervous around her. But could you blame him?
