Chapter 3 ~The New School

* Beep Beep Beep *
I sit up with a grunt and look around my room. What demonic spawn of satan decides to wake up the queen ? I look around the room furiously and locate the demon spawn. Evil clock , I mutter while I hit
the snooze button. The sun is shining through the cracks of my window and I realize it's Monday. All my thoughts come rushing back to me and I think about yesterday. Who was that guy ? What happened to the wolf ? Why is it that even though they all had gentle expressions there was some tension in the room?
I force myself off my comfy bed and my feet touch the freezing floor. I make my way to the bathroom and almost have a heart attack. What the heck is that in the mirror ! Oh wait , it's me. I chuckle and start thinking about my outfit . I go search for a cute top and find the perfect top. A pale pink shirt that says "Bo$$". I rummage through my drawers and find a pair of white , ripped jeans. Cute. I look at the clock and it reads 7:15. WHAT?! I only have 20 minutes ! I race into the bathroom and take the quickest shower known to mankind. I wrap a towel around my head and start getting dressed. When I finish I try to battle the mop of hair on my head and get it into a decent braid. I apply mascara and peach scented lip gloss. I slowly put on my contacts and rush out of the bathroom and down the stairs. I see mom up and the smell of pancakes and bacon makes my stomach growl. By then it's 7:25 and I already know I'm late for the first day. I spot my backpack on the kitchen counter and I sprint to the front door.
"Honey you don't want breakfast?"
"Mom, I'm going to be late!"
"It's only 7:17 , school starts at 7:45."
"Really ?"
"Yes , now calm down and eat."
I sit down and my mom sets down a plate stacked with pancakes and a pile of bacon.
Even though I'm thin, actually thinking about it ... My whole family is fit and I'm just scrawny. But we all eat like pigs. I scarf down my food and grab my backpack.
I go over to kiss my mom and as I'm leaving I hear her mumble "She's in for a long ride , we can't hide this for ever."
I almost question her but decide to leave it for later.
As I'm strolling along I see a bunch of kids already waiting at the bus stop and my anxiety kicks in.
I've never been good with people , I really need Maisie and Issac but they're probably In school. I think of a distraction and I dig in my pocket and find headphones. I pull out my phone and put on my favorite song.

Forget that it's over

The bus rolls up and I sigh. My bae Shawn is life. As everyone starts going on the bus , I see a shadow lurking in the trees. It's like I'm being followed by those darn wolves.
I grunt as I step on the bus and head for the back seats. I sit near a nice looking girl and I let my thoughts wander.
Just three days ago I was in California enjoying some fries and a shake with my two babes. Now I'm in a new state , new school and it's hard for me to make friends. I've had Issac and Maisie since 2nd grade. I was all alone , just sitting on the grass. They came up to me and invited me to play tag with them. That's the first time I ever had a real smile. I got up and shyly said yes. They grabbed my arms and dragged me to the other kids and that's the first time I played a real game , had real fun. They were my everything , my rock , instead of one shoulder I had two shoulders to cry on. We are three and I will not lose contact with them I feel as if nothing can break us. We have never had a strong argument. The last big argument was who ate the last pop tart in the tree house. That's are daily arguments.
The bus lurches forward then back as it stops at my destination.
Jail.
Just kidding , I wish.
I see the big sign that says Eagle View High
|Where we all strive for a better future|
We are eagles huh ? Couldn't beat the California Griffins.

I walk up the steps , and almost at the last step I trip. I waited for my face to make contact with the floor but that never happens. Two big , strong arms are wrapped around my waist. I look up to see my knight in shining armor and its that guy from the hospital! His eyes hold mischievous glint as he says "Watch out Tiger , would'nt want that pretty little face bruised up"
I blush so hard I think I resemble A tomato. Im not good with compliments , especially coming from extremely HOT guys. I try to worm out of his graspe but he holds me tigher , right on the stairs! Infront of everyone. I feel eyes on me and look up to see a very pretty but angry looking girl glaring at me. I look back down and Al whispers ,
" I can see you're already falling for me"

He releases me and I try to scrabble away until I'm forcefully grabbed by the arm. I'm spinned around and I'm face to face with a very scary looking blonde.
" I dont know who you are or why you think you can mess with my man but you better stay away from Alphonse , you ugly , scrawny bitch !" she spits at me. I gulp and make a dash for the bathroom. Damn , what crawled up her ass and died ? I look in the mirror and see my wild mane as I like to call it. I have long , blonde curls that look more like a mop than actual hair. I hear the bell ring telling me it's time for first period and I make my way to room 304. Right when I'm two steps away from the door the tardy bell rings and I curse silently. I hesitate before opening the door and everyone's eyes are on me.
" Hello you must be Savannah , welcome !"
She said cheerfully and with much enthusiasm.
" Take a seat anywhere." I see two empty seats in the back and I make my way towards it.
" Class this Is Savannah , she just moved here from Wisconsin. Would you like to introduce yourself ?"
As much as I want to say no , she seems so sweet I couldn't resist. I slowly stand
up and quietly say
" I'm Savannah, 16 , favorite color is light blue , I'm Italian-American and I h..."
I'm cut off my someone opening the door and everyone stares. There in all his glory is Al. The girl starts to swoon and the guys look at him in respect.
" Hello Mrs.Wyby may I take Savannah out to the hallway for a moment ?"
"Sure , but be quick." Everyone is looking at me with envy and I silently get up and head out the door. His demeanor quickly changes and he harshly pushes me up agianst the wall. " Why are you and your family here on my territory !" He spits out.
"Oh , I didn't know your family owned Wisconsin."
" Not that you filthy mutt."
I'm taken aback by his words and silently shout ,
" I don't know what you're talking about and I suggest you leave me alone or I'll scream rape."
"It's not rape if you like it."
I look at him in disgust and worm my way out of his grasp.
"Just know we are holding a pack meeting and you and your family must attend or we will banish you from our land."
" What in the world are you talking about ?!"
He looks like he's about to retort a nasty comment when his eyes light up with realization.
" You're human aren't you."

I'm so new to this , and I'm sorry for any spelling mistakes. I know the first chapters are short but they will get longer and better. I takes me about 3-4 hours to write the chapter , edit , and make sure I'm make sense lol xD ! I have the plot and everything but each chapter needs individual time. I do this for the fun of it (: I don't really care if I get many readers. One person enjoying is enough for me !!
