   Even though Clancy was skeletal, she felt safe in his sight. Ruby was always pushing thoughts down, but one thought kept running into her mind. She would always dismiss the fact that she likes Clancy just as someone might say they are fine and it is false.

   As Ruby stared into Clancy's eyes, she only saw warmth and astonishment of the events that just happened. And before either could comprehend what was was happening they kissed.

-~-~-~(Setting or something changes)

  "Hey, Rube?" Clancy asked, he only intend to wake Ruby up, not to frighten her. Ruby only mumbled something inaudible in response. Clancy was like a police officer, you can't keep anything from him, but he can keep anything from anyone. He was already concerned when he couldn't hear Ruby, but his suspicions were confirmed when Ruby's dog, Bug, was by their side.

   "Why did you have to wake me up, Clance!!??" Ruby repeated. She was too busy thinking about her dream and how she kissed Clancy Crew to realise how closely Clancy was inspecting her. (Not in a creepy way perverts.)

   "So?" Clancy inquired.

   "So what?" Ruby bluntly retorted, she that it was too early to bicker.

   "So what happened last night? Something is clearly wrong," Clancy responded.

   "It was just a stupid dream." Ruby slightly shifted in her spot to brace herself for a lie. Hoping that Clancy wouldn't notice wouldn't change anything. "You know, about donuts and stuff. "

   Even though Ruby had called it stupid, Ruby wanted it to be true. If only that had actually happened, she probably wouldn't even be able to handle the tension of the demanding idea.

   "So-" Clancy smiled at Ruby as he responded cheekily-"you expect Hitch would believe you? Let alone me, your best friend"

This is still 3rd person limited but now from Red's pov

   Even though Clancy had left a while ago, Ruby and Red were still at the Double Donut Diner.

   Red was surprisingly a good listener when it came to Ruby and was more than pleases to talk with her about a dream she had.

   Red has never been the best at advice, but she was going to try dream interpretation that involves characters Ruby wouldn't even name. On the bright side, her dream was about a kiss, in particular a boy.

Ik I haven't been updating but I still hope that you enjoy it and I hope this sort of long chapter makes up for my lack of updates. If multiple people are reading this, I might do a Q&A to mark the milestone.
