Masquerade

1.Mask

I wear a mask to hide my feelings, to hide my pain as I stare at the ceiling.
My eyes show nothing but sadness, while my mask shows nothing but hapiness.

I wish that I could take off that mask because it feels so uncomfortable, but when I do that, my emotions will become uncontrollably unstable.

Too hurt to even bear the pain, as I let my shirt get soaked from the rain.
Now you see me, now you don't, you always see me happy, now you won't.

2.Facade

My once happy face you saw in school, it was a facade, so don't be fooled.
I cry when I'm in the dark, leaving a sore, painful mark.

Once I end this presentaion that I made, with black, my face shall have a shade.
Full of sorrow and despair, you never even see, so uncommon and rare.

At the time I give up and let these words torture me, remember this,
"You never even once, made me happy"
