Dandy led Rosalie down the same path as yesterday. Rosalie was nervous again as Dandy seemed to catch on, refusing to allow her to wander away in case she ran or got lost. Dandy eventually grabbed her arm when Rosalie fell behind.

"Keep up!" he snapped.

"I thought you wanted to go trick or treating?" Rosalie asked. Gloria informed them that trick or treating was behind held in neighboring towns tonight, and they could go. It was where Gloria assumed they were heading.

"I have found better plans to satisfy our evening. Any other questions?" Dandy asked in boredom.

Rosalie was prepared to get sassy but realized they had reached the clearing where the clown and the kids waited in the trailer. The youngest boy looked terrified when he saw them, especially Rosalie's scary mask and bloodied body. To a kid, there was no telling if that blood was real or fake. Dandy led Rosalie to an empty stump.

"Sit!" Dandy demanded excitedly.

"What are you doing?" Rosalie whispered as Dandy sat beside her.

"Twisty and I have a fun show planned!" Dandy whispered as Rosalie watched him. "It's Halloween!"

"Shouldn't we help them escape?" Rosalie asked. Dandy laughed boisterously as he patted her shoulder. Rosalie was happy he couldn't see her narrowed eyes.

"You make me laugh!" Dandy chuckled.

Dandy stood to set up. Rosalie would kill to trick or treat now. She nervously watched the three kids sitting in the dirty trailer with tied hands and dirty, tired faces. Rosalie knew she couldn't save them with Dandy and Twisty around. Dandy was strong enough to disarm her while holding a teenager! Rosalie didn't want to know what the clown would do if he captured her. Rosalie heard the girl mutter to the boys in the trailer. The girl and the youngest boy peeked at her as they whispered. Rosalie tried ignoring them.

Twisty and Dandy brought a wooden box and a saw. Dandy proudly observed their makeshift carnival, ensuring the kids couldn't see him as he lifted his mask slightly to rub his face. Rosalie didn't want to know what the damn saw was for–

The trailer door opened, and the young woman barreled out, screaming for help with her arms tied. Rosalie stood, her feet frozen as Dandy watched, equally as shocked as the blonde ran. Twisty ran after her as the two kids screamed from the inside. Dandy quickly snapped out of it and ran into the trailer, grabbing a stick from Twisty's stockpile and roughly jabbing it in their direction. The kids wailed in fear.

"SHUT UP!" Dandy yelled. The boys quickly cowered when Dandy jabbed the oldest with the stick. Dandy rushed out and handed it to Rosalie. "I'm going to find Twisty. Keep them here!" he demanded before running away.

"Please, let us out!" the oldest boy cried.

"I want my Mommy!" the youngest sobbed, his tears making his dirty cheeks sticky. Rosalie hesitated, thinking of the consequences if she were caught. She dropped the stick and rushed inside, kneeling beside the oldest as he cried in relief.

"What's your name?" Rosalie asked, attempting to distract him. His struggle made the knot tighter over time. The youngest quit crying when he realized Rosalie would help them, his sniffles fading.

"Ryan," he said. "Please, hurry!"

Rosalie looked around for something to cut the rope. The youngest kicked a piece of wood at her. Rosalie grabbed it and used the sharpest point to cut the rope.

"Will that work?" Ryan asked hysterically.

"We'll find out!" Rosalie said as she kept cutting. The longer it took, the more Ryan began hyperventilating again. Dandy and Twisty's chances of returning before the boys were freed were severely high. Rosalie managed to cut most of it, but quick footsteps and screaming coming their way made Rosalie dart from the trailer. Ryan adjusted his hands so his captors would be none the wiser.

Twisty carried the unconscious girl. He set her on the ground before storming into the trailer to grab the others. Rosalie was worried when Dandy didn't return with him as the kids sniffled on the ground. Twisty poorly attempted to entertain the kids, seemingly oblivious that the boys were nearly on top of each other in fear. The girl seemed to gain consciousness as she moaned on the ground.

Dandy suddenly appeared, holding two unconscious bodies as he stumbled into the clearing. Ryan quickly shushed the other, hoping keeping quiet would lessen their chances of being killed.

"I come bearing gifts!" Dandy called as he dropped the newbies on the ground. Rosalie didn't recognize the young woman with shoulder-length blonde hair in modest clothing. She stirred around like the other girl.

Rosalie barely hid her gasp when she noticed the other hostage was Jimmy. Dandy proudly beamed behind his mask as Twisty obnoxiously clapped in excitement.

"Let's get this show on the road, shall we?" Dandy asked the crowd. He lifted the girl who came with Jimmy, taking her to the wooden box Twisty opened for him. Twisty sat down once the lid was in place, and the girl continued waking up. Rosalie felt sick as she observed the girl's head sticking out of the box, and the purpose of the saw became evident.
