The Makeover

Chapter Seven

*Niall's P.O.V*

They are giving me a 'what the hell' look. I can't let them beat Sam up till she blacks out.

"What the hell Niall! You let her get away!" Zayn shouted at me.

"What if someone sees us? Are you going to beg the school for us?" I shouted at him.

I was a little bit furious at him.

"Zayn don't risk everything on us. Make sure your the only one who gets expelled. Don't include us." I frankly said.

I walked out and left the four of them. I wish I could still catch up with Sam. I need to tell her something I never would tell in a million years. If I could do that now.

Rain started to fall. I don't care if I would be soaking wet, I just care about Sam, Sam alone. I ran, hoping that I could still catch Sam. And to my luck, I saw her walking absentmindedly.

"Sam!" I shouted enough for her to hear with all this loud rain drops.

She turned and met my eyes. She was shocked when she saw me so she hurriedly ran. I ran and tried to stop her. I grabbed her arm and pulled her to me.

"Please don't hurt me Niall, please!" She cried as she tried her best to break free.

"No, I won't hurt you. I want to tell you something." I said. She stopped and laid her eyes on mine.

"Okay, *sigh*  I'm really sorry for hurting you. I know a simple sorry like this can't heal the pain you are feeling now but I just want to apologize to you and  tell you that I am regreting what I did to you." I said.

She stood there and stared at me.

"So Zayn let you follow me here and tell that to me? And what will happen next, are you going to kill me and fulfill Zayn's happiness?!" She spoke.

"If he wants to kill me, do it now. Don't kill me with a pain in the heart!" She half shouted.

I can see her tears  slowly falling from her eyes.

"No Sam, that's not what I meant." I told her.

"So what do you mean then?!"

I can see her starting to cry. I don't want to see her cry but she wants the truth and she deserves it.

"I only joined them because Zayn is my best friend and I don't want to betray him." I said. "I never wanted to hurt you and never would I do that. I never hurt somebody I love."

We stared at each other for a while and Sam walked away. I guess the apologizing didn't work. She's too hurt and confused to accept my apology. I saw Sam stopped. What's with her? She seem not okay so I went to her. When I was getting closer, she collapsed so I immediately catched her. She felt so warm and I bet she has a cold. Good thing their house is just blocks away so I decided to carry her home.

*Sam's P.O.V*

I ran, hoping I could get away from them. When I was already far from the school, I stopped and started walking. While I was walking, I sometimes halt and pause for a while. I don't feel good. I think I'm sick or something. Then rain started to fall. Great. I walked and walked in the rain and I felt that my head hurts so badly. I was walking absentmindedly until somebody called me. I turned around and saw Niall. Oh no, he's gonna kill me for escaping. I ran as fast as I could, praying he won't catch me.

Niall caught me and I am trying my very best to break free.

"Please don't hurt me Niall, please!" I cried. 

"No, I won't hurt you. I want to tell you something." He said.

Tell me something? What is it? Is he going to tell me that Zayn is coming and he wants me dead by the time he gets here?

I didn't assume so I stopped and listened.

"Okay, *sigh*  I'm really sorry for hurting you. I know a simple sorry like this can't heal the pain you are feeling now but I just want to apologize to you and  tell you that I am regreting what I did to you." He said. Wow, good acting.

He wants to befriend me so Zayn can get a higher connection?

"So Zayn let you follow me here and tell that to me? And what will happen next, are you going to kill me and fulfill Zayn's happiness?!" I said straightly.

"If he wants to kill me, do it now. Don't kill me with a pain in the heart!" I am mad but I'm trying my best to keep it in.

"No Sam, that's not what I meant."  He said.

"So what do you mean then?!" I asked then started crying.

"I only joined them because Zayn is my best friend and I don't want to betray him." He said.

What? Betray him? He said some words after but I didn't manage to hear it because I don't feel right. I stared at him and walked away. Ugh. My whole body hurts. I stopped due to the pain. It's too painful to feel. The next thing I know, everything went black.

I woke up in our couch seeing my mom sitting beside me.

"Sam your awake." My mom said.

"What happened?" I asked because obviously, I didn't know what happened after I blacked out. "Did you carry me all the way here?" I asked her.

She smiled.

"No, Niall did. I'm really thankful he brought you here since you blacked out." She said.
