Are Humans that bad?

A year later
I was at helbram's house as king had to do some king business. "Hey thorn I heard that there was a human village close to here" the green haired fairy said while sitting on the couch. "I believe I heard king mention something about them and that we shouldn't-" he rolled his eyes as he cut me off. "oh please our king is just trying to scare us" helbram continued as he stood up "are humans that bad?" I asked making eye contact with him "our they as bad as king says they are?" Helbram but his hand to his chin "there is only one way to find out" he smirked. As I grabbed my cloak putting it on hiding my wings.
as helbram held the door for me "after you got stuff" I giggled at that making his face go red.

-Lil time skip to the humans-
Me and helbram where looking at the helmet that a human was showing us, it was so lame but it had something about it that made us think about king. "Thank you kind sir" I said smiling at him as helbram held the helmet.

-King's point-
I had just gotten done with all the things that needed to be done so I decided to go to the house and see if Thorn was there. But I was only to meet with my sister in distress. "Brother! It's helbram and thorn!" Those words made my heart drop "they went to the human village they have not returned!" My mind was racing "i need to go down there I need to find them!" How ever Elaine stoped me "but brother the tree it needs you We need you" I could see the emotions in her eyes but I need to see if my friends where ok. "They might be in danger Elaine I- I'm sorry" before she could say anything I took off. "Please be ok please please please be ok" my eyes spotted the village I landed seeing body's of my people there blood everywhere there wings where missing. "What happened?" I asked as I witnessed the life drane from the fairy's eyes whom I was holding. I heard a noise that caught my attention my eyes wide as I heard a female voice cry out my name it was thorns voice it was full of agony, distress, and despair. She was runing towards me tears running down her face "harlequin run now! get out of here! it's not safe! king please!" She was bleeding that's when it dawned on me her wings....all their wings were gone these humans were taking their wings. "Thorn!" I got up but just when I got up I saw a sword go through thorns stomach causing her to stop the sword was pulled out but I didn't see the person who did it. "Thorn! Crap crap!" I yelled to myself as I saw her fall to the ground I ran finally getting to her "Thorn please stay with me please Thorn" I now had her in my lap as my arms cradled her "harle...quin I'm so sor..ry I should ha..ve listen too you" she smiled as if she wasn't dying. "Thorn please stay with me" I cried but she only looked in my eyes as tears went down her blood stained cheeks " king.. I lo-" my heart fell as her eyes slowly closed as her life left her body. "No no thorn don't leave me like this please come back to me!" I cried out "oh she won't come back but at least she helped us out, her wings where different then all the others they will sell highly on the market" a figure said as they came out of the dark. As I laid thorns body to the side softly I stood up. "Too bad you won't" he said running towards me stabbing me in the side and pushing me off into the rushing water.
