Classes went by like that and we were in second break when the worst thing possible happened we were playing basketball just me and James and i tripped over a loose rock and landed on my back I groaned when I tried to get up and James came over to me a quizzical look on his face he reached down and lifted my shirt up to reveal his initials I pushed his hand away and he grabbed my arm as I was getting up he pulled off the bandage to reveal his initials he looked confused then a light bulb went off in his head he shut his eyes and shook his head then opened one eye and said "slave?" I nodded sadly and said "master" I shut my eyes and put my head down in shame then he used two of his fingers to raise my chin and said "hey it's ok" I shook my head "how is this ok? People are going to ask why your initials are on me and what will I say?" I looked at my feet trying to avoid eye contact with him then James lifted my chin again so that I had to look in his eyes those amazing blue eyes of his 'Ella stop it u can't hit on your master!!!' Fang said in my head ' plus he is to good for you anyway' she is right "first off storm if they ask you just tell them that whoever burnt you burnt you and second... Don't hide your face from me, ever. Ok?" He said the last part in a stern shaky voice I hesitantly nodded my head "right now who burnt you?" He said with such a tone that it made me get scared of him and flinch away he saw this and mumbled a sorry before I took a deep breath and started my explanation once I was finished his fists were clenched very tightly that you could see the whites of his knuckles and I said "so about the slave thing do u even want me as a slave?" "Woah. Ok storm I'm not going to treat you as a slave of any kind." He said then I asked "so you will do the chant to break the curse?" He looked at me "haha ah no sorry storm but... Yeah no" I frowned and he stormed off fists still clenched as the bell went for last period which was science and half way through Tyler gave me a note from James it read 'hey storm I run into some trouble meet me at my house after school' great I wonder what he has gotten himself into then taleah came over to me and said "hello I don't know if u know who I am but I'm taleah I couldn't help but say hi also your the talk of the school at the moment" she said it in a shy voice I said in a very stuck up snobby voice "well then if your going to approach me like this you could at least say my name" her eyes were wide I laughed at her and then hugged her "don't worry taleah we are already best friends" she smiled showing off her perfect white teeth and sat down next to me then what she said next shocked me "I've seen the way you look at James you like him don't you, piece of advice Tiffany hoare is going to ask him out tomorrow" I said "look I really do like him the way that his smile is so contagious and his laugh send butterflies into my stomach but an amazing guy like him and a little thing like me would never happen" she said "look storm ok I'm a werewolf I know what the initials mean and hey do u wanna go for a run after school today in fang forest" can I trust her with my secrets... Yes I can!!! " ok I'll meet you at four" and then the bell went and I walked home then went next door to James's house to find the door wide open and James on the couch with fresh bloodied bandages on his hands he just gave me a crooked smile "master!" I said and went to the kitchen and opened the freezer to find some frozen meat some frozen peas and buckets upon buckets of ice cream I grabbed two frozen pea packets and put them in tea towels I unraveled his hands and my eyes widened at what I saw I set the peas down on the coffee table and fetched a bucket and a face washer I half filled the bucket with water and took it out to James " ok now your going to have to hold still master" I said already hating the word master I grabbed his hand and putting it straight in the bucket of water he took a sharp breath and then I took his hand out washing it gently with the face washer dabbing it ever so lightly in fear of hurting him once all the blood was washed off there was a great gash on the back of his hand it was deep and needed stitches I sighed feeling his gaze on me and walked out of the room going to find a first aid kit luckily it had a needle and surgical stitches in it I brought that out to James he stared at me like I was a nutcase and said "come near me with that needle and I'll tie you to the dog kennel!" I shrugged my shoulders and said "I don't care do it because the stitches need to happen or that cut will get infected" he smirked and said "fine then you can be chained up for a week" his smirk was the smirk of triumph again I shrugged my shoulders and he hesitantly gave me his hand I started my face so close once I had done I gave him the peas after I wrapped his hand up in clean bandages then it was almost four and I headed off to fang Forrest
