Tsuki & Akira

So new powers again huh

"I think we should help them bro." said my sister in her most commanding tone she could muster. "I thought we were here just to check em out?" I replied. She gave me her coldest demon stare. "NOW!!" She then spun around and shot down two flying monsters with her light pistols. And then took off running helping everyone. I knew these weren't even some of their strong monsters. If anything these are the teasers before the main thing. 

Someone ran into and started clinging to my cloak screaming "HELP HELP THEY HAVE MY HUSBAND." She pointed at an old man where six monsters were trying to pull from under a staircase. I didn't want to be here but I can't watch a bunch of monsters gang upon an old man. I ran over to the old man and created a shadow long sword and pounced on the monsters, destroying all of them in one go. The old man was bleeding but not too badly injured.

"Thank you, son, for saving me," he said, while his wife sobbed holding him. "No problem," something seems off here, I can sense a bit of magical power. Like a baby trying to tug me. "Ah, seems you noticed something." He said. "Um.. yeah," I said, not sure how I feel that he could read my thoughts just by looking at my face. "Why didn't you use your powers to fight them."

"Well you see I already used it to save my wife here, but it has a sort of cool down before I can use it again." He explained. So I guess he was ready to sacrifice his life for her. I could sort of relate. I mean I'd be willing to put my own life on the line to save Akira. 

"Now then," he attempted to stand up only to fall back down. His wife helped him up. He turned to her and said, "Thank you, dear. Now then young man how can I repay you."  "No need for that, just doing what any person should do in a situation such as that one." Yeesh, sounding heroic is hard work. 

Just then a pair of double doors burst open, "WHAT'S ALL THIS NOISE!!!" A large burly man that radiated command and power was standing in what was left of the doorway. No one moved, even the monsters had stopped and were forgotten about. His presence was captivating. Sparks started coming out his body. "I SAID WHAT ALL THIS NOISE IS. I WAS TRYNA TAKE A BLOODY NAP WHEN THIS COMMOTION WOKE ME UP."

"Max the monsters they started attacking us." It was that one guy who was on stage. Hmm thought he died already, Akira must be working overtime. "You have to help us, Max." "And why would I. You ungrateful wretches never give me anything of real value." He replied with a huff. "Hey shut up already would ya. I'm losing IQ points just listening to you". Everyone tried but failed to hide their snickers. I was getting tired of listening to him. "Oh, and who are you. Some punk-ass kid tryna play grown-up." "Wow there, we're not even that close and I can smell your breath and it's downright stank."  At this even burst out laughing.

Akira walked over and hissed, "Stop fighting humans and help me fight these already." I shrugged, "But they're not any fun." Though I held up my hand in surrender. "Yeah, that's right to listen to your Lil girlfriend and run." Max who saw this as a moment to strike back said. "That's disgusting. For a man like you to just assume that we're a couple. We are brothers and sisters. You're a piece of shit." She did always have a foul mouth. Just takes some idiot to set her off.

"Calm down Akira it's not a big ..." and here we go again interrupting me. "AHHH!!" A monster had suddenly grabbed someone and was running away while the others blocked our way. "Tsuki does your thing," Akira said taking off with a full sprint. "Ha, what is a kid like you gonna do. Cry for your mommy." It seemed he recovered from Akira yelling at him but I could still hate for her behind his act. "Why don't you just watch and be quiet." -Deep Breath- "Shadow katana comes to me." A katana came out of the shadows in the room and flew into my hand. A couple of people near me stepped back. Thanks to the monsters most of the lights are broken and over half the room are in a shadow one way or another. "SHADOW DANCE!!!" And just like that I transported myself with the shadows and started cutting down the most of the monster. 

"I thought you were going to shadow-port," Akira yelled from behind me. (basically teleporting using shadows and he's in-front if her now because he teleported). "Well, you know how I complicate things when I'm bored," I replied. "Well bro, you wouldn't be bored if you had killed em all when I told you to. We could have been out of here a long time ago doing anything else." "While that is true. I do not have a response to that now so we'll say we're both right."  "Oh no bro, you know I'm right and ..." "Aww look at the cute couple having a lover's quarrel," said Max. The idiot attempts a comeback. "For the last time idiot, we're... " I turned and saw him. Holding a lightning bolt. Charged and aimed for the monster that ran off with the man but Akria... she was between the bolt and the monster but max looked happy. Like he was excited he could throw the bolt at both of them. No way he can't... he can't throw it. He'll kill her. 

He cocked his arm back and threw it at her. My body tensed then before I knew it Max was on the floor writhing in pain, the monster was gone but the man was floor gasping for air and Akira was in my arms, panting with sweat on her forehead and sparks in her hair. I looked around to see everyone staring, and that's when everything went dark.

A/N: so this is my longest anything chapter I've ever written for anything 1000+ words. Should I do more chapters like this or stick to my 50+ chapters. leave ur votes in the comments :) have a good day
