A dangerous suspicion

Upon returning to the pack house with a nearly unconsious Ashley on my side, my packmates quickly surrounded us with questions"What happened?" "Oh my god, is that Ashley?" "What the hell happened to her?" I felt arms wrapped around my waist as Ashley was taken to the infirmary to be treated. "I should never have let you leave my sight, little mate." I shivered and my wolf purred load and long in my head. Alpha tom came forward and asked me with a worried look in his eyes,"What happened. I need to you to tell me excatly what happened and the people around you in that restaurant." I closed my eyes, took a deep breath and related everything to him, including the fact that we felt someone watching us. I also handed the little bit of prawn to him for furthur lab testing to indentify the type of poison in our food. "Since someone is trying hard to poison you, you are not allowed to leave my side and i you want food, you have to eat in this house." Ashton said sternly. I rolled my eyes and flicked him in the nose,"I could always eat you, you sexy arse." His eyes darkened in lust and he growled lowly into my ear,"Dont tempt me, little wolf." I smirked and teased,"Catch me, mister."With a little rub on his manhood with my ass, I turned tail and ran. 

I giggled as I heard Ashton cursed and started to chase me. I ran into the woods with Ashton at my tail. Into the woods we raced and peals of laughter escaped my lips at the vain effort of Ashton chasing me. Suddenly I pricked up my ears as I heard Ashton stopped chasing after me. I turned around and looked at the clearing Im in. "Ashton?" I shouted out. Suddenly, the leaves above me rustled and I suddenly found myself pinned on the grassy floor with Ashton on top of me with a victorious smirk. He grinned and growled lowly,"Noe, who's being naughty?" I giggled and pulled him down to me and shared a long and heated kiss.

Suddenly, in the middle of our ecatasy, a shrill scream sounded several metres away from us. We broke away from the kiss and rushed towards the source of sound. Panting and huffing, we carashed into a clearing which was silent except sounds of a person gasping due to teh lack of oxygen. I looked down at the ground and jumped back with shock and horror. Ashton leaned forward and looked at the scene before me."Oh my god..." I rushed to the dying person's side and lifted her into a sitting position. I recognised her as a member in Alpha Tom's pack, who I might have come across occasionally but forgot. 

I knelt down by her side and held her hand. "What's your name and who did this to you?" She looked up at me with tear-filled eyes and gasped out,"I..I..I'm Jessica and th..th..thank you for your help. A..Ar.Are you Bella..Bellatrix from Al..Alpha Tom's pack?" I nodded and eased her down to the ground, "shh..shhh. rest your breath." She gripped me arm and shook her head very hard, "N..No! I..I must tell you....y.you are i..in dang..gerr. The.There's a..a  Traitor...arou,..around yyyyou..Be..Be Car..Careful."

I cocked my head and asked her in ernest.,"What?What do you mean? Who?" Jessica's eyes rolled back into her head and she whispered out,"Nicole. Me. Beware.Traitor." Then with a whoosh, her soul left her and her eyes fluttered close. I laid her back in the shades and turned around at Ashton, who was still gasping at the sight he just witnessed. "So, what do you think she meant? Nicole? Me?Beware?Traitor?" He frowned and said," Let's head back and tell the others about this." "But not Nicole."I insisted. He nodded, slung an arm around my shoulder and we walked back to the packhouse.

I think something fishy and really dangerous is going on in here.We better watch our backs and keep an eye on Nicole.

So, something here is related to Nicole's doing. After all this years, she's still trying to make my life miserabe? Trust me, I wont let her get what she wants and I'll find out what's she doing and planning on. After all, I'm Bellatrix right?
