It's been two weeks, and the case for Nathan has grown cold for the cops. Like I said before I started my own investigation, and I realized there is one person that was at the lake on July 4 everyone is not talking about, Oliver Owen, he was at the lake that morning leading a survival cores, and a source told me that he was the one that shot the gun( the one that Mason heard) on July 4 . I knew what to do, so I gathered my things, and went to Olivia to tell her what I found
Olivia: Your right, he is the only one that the cops haven't talked to..and if it's true, I just cannot believe that Oliver of all people would shot a gun
Ace (me): I know...I guess he is an actually "hard core survivalists"
Looking at the expression on her face I asked
Ace (me): What you're thinking?
Olivia: I'm thinking that we need to bring him in...to say a statement for the Red and Gold
Ace (me): On it
We walked out ...not knowing that a secret is about to about to be revealed
Ace (me): Oliver...we need to talk
Oliver: About what
Olivia: Not here, in the news room
Oliver: Ok
(he said hesitantly)
Now, we were all walking down the hall...1 minute later we made it to the news room and Olivia began to take out her notebook
Olivia: So Oliver, my sources tell me that you were the one who shot that gun on July 4
At first,Oliver wasn't saying anything....so I stated
Ace (me): Either you tell us the truth or you can tell it to the cops...which one you prefer
Oliver: Find...but I got a bigger story...if this one goes off record....because my parents will kill me
Ace (me): Ok
Oliver: Yes,I did shot the gun on July 4, but what everybody don't about that morning is me and Mason wasn't the only ones there ... I saw Ms, Bradly's car there.
Olivia was standing there...shock not knowing what to say.There was an awkward silence that filled the room. Finally I spoke and said
Ace (me): Thank you for coming in...don't worry your story is safe with us...trust me
With that Oliver had left, and Olivia was still standing there with the same shock expression on her face
Ace (me): SNAP OUT OF IT
Olivia: Ace...Do you know what this means...Ms.Bradly lied to cops about being there that morning...and if she could lie about that....it makes me wonder...what else she lied about
Ace (me): I'm sure she had her reasons
Olivia: WHAT REASON COULD SHE POSSIBLY HAVE FOR LIEING ABOUT WHERE SHE WAS WHEN Nathan WENT MISSING ACE!!!!
Not knowing what to say I just stud there
Olivia: That's what I thought ...Hey Ace...do you think Mason and Ms.Bradly was at Pickens Lake together that morning
Aging I had no words..now that Olivia knows a part of the truth... I wonder what she's going to do with it.
