About the bruises under the shirt I wore to cover my breasts,
The sleek charcoal black coat covered all of me,
Made sure it covered my scratched wrists,
I was wearing my favorite skirt,
With leggings underneath,
I started wearing that long dress,
Made sure to cover the scars on my hips,
I started to smile more,
They thought I was strong,
But they were wrong,
I am anything but strong,
I cried out for help, but
Little did they know.
