Been about you since day one,
But you have been about someone else since day one,
I really thought that you were the one,
But you knew that I was not the one,
knew that you were never mine,
How could you lie,
Talk about love, and trust
And how much I have your heart.
You said you'd never break my heart.
But you broke far more than that.
You broke my soul,
Left my chest with a dark whole,
Now my heart cries,
My soul is left with scars,
A daily reminder of what you've done,
Now look what I've become!
A silhouette without light,
One who becomes alive at night,
A dark luminesce,
One filled with so much arrogance,
I am filled with memories that strain and drain my brain,
A shattered jewel beyond repair,
You broke me once again,
But I would fall back once again,
