Thirteen

Yusei searches through rooms in the corridor, trying to find the source of Akiza's whispers. After about eight rooms, Yusei comes across a locked door. He tries shaking the silver knob on the wooden door, but it wouldn't budge. He steps back a few feet, then charges at the door with his shoulder, and bust it down. Yusei enters the room while holding his shoulder. 

The room Yusei enters has a large aluminum cage, in which his friends are stuck inside of, looking plentifully weak. 

"Guys!" Yusei shouts, yanking on the aluminum bars.

"Yusei?" Jack opens an eye to groan.

"I'll get you out of here, I promise!" Yusei swears.

An injured Jax also enters the room.

"I see you found them. You're a man short though?" Jax notices.

"Mind your business. Get my friends out of this cage right now Jax, before I put another beating on you!" Yusei roars.

"Woah relax, I will. You might as well have time with your friends before their end." Jax pulls a key out of his pocket.

Jax walks passed Yusei, inserts the key into the cage and unlocks the door. Yusei pushes Jax to the side and enters the cage to assist his friends.

"I'll see you on the other side Yusei." Jax exits the room in slow, sorrowful movements.

"What's that guy talkin about Yusei?" Crow fights to speak.

"They took you guys hostage so they could leverage you against me to stand by while their plan finished." Yusei looks down.

A weak Akiza grabs onto Yusei's arm in comfort.

"What is gonna happen?" Leo whispers.

"They got everything they needed to pay off a government official to send a nuke to Neo Domino City, enough to devastate everything here. Once everything here is dead, some of their Duel Nazi followers will rebuild Neo Domino in their image. Their plan worked." Yusei sighs.

"It's not over yet Yusei." Jack says.

"You beat their leader, and he won't stop it?" Luna asks.

"He can't. The program for the nuke is already in session, it's going to drop here in a couple hours, and even if we tried to leave Neo Domino the nuke will cover that distance. We're stuck." Yusei says.

"I guess it is the end then." A tear rolls down Crow's face.

"We had so much we wanted to do." Akiza digs her head into Yusei's chest.

"I know." Yusei replies in anguish.

"I wanted one last cheeseburger." Crow smirks.

"We are Signers, suppose to protect this city and the future. We won't lose here." Jack says.

"Jack there is nothing else we can do. I tried everything." Yusei explains.

"Everything?" Jack asks, raising a brow. 

"What are you thinking?" Yusei asks. 

"Have you tried the Crimson Dragon?" Jack asks.

"The Crimson Dragon?" Crow gives a dirty look.

"How is a spirit going to stop a nuke?" Leo asks.

"Monster spirits can use their strength through a host to accomplish a purpose. The purpose of the Crimson Dragon is to help the Signers right, after all it did choose us." Luna says.

"Yusei, you still have a chance." Akiza grabs his thigh and kisses him for a minute.

"Good Ra, get a room." Jack rolls his eyes.
