Eight

Yusei and Jaden appear back in Yusei's apartment, still aboard his duel runner.

"Well atleast we're not dead huh?" Jaden hops off, and puts his helmet on the seat.

"Yeah, otherwise the timeline would probably be in danger." Yusei says.

"Whatcha mean Yusei?" Jaden asks.

"What I mean Jaden, is If I don't return you to exactly when I took you from your time, it could damage my present where maybe I don't even exist or other things don't happen." Yusei also gets off the duel runner and places his helmet on the seat. 

"Yeah when you say it like that, this could go bad." Jaden sighs.

"I promise that you'll get home." Yusei turns and walks to his computer.

"I believe him." Yubel's duel spirit appears beside Jaden.

"I do too." Jaden follows Yusei to his computer.

Yusei plops himself into this rolling chair, he turns on his monitor and plays a live news feed. 

"This just in, a new criminal organization dubbed the Duel Nazi's have recently re-attempted the burglary at the Neo Domino Vault and succeeded, cleaning out over millions of dollars that the city uses to run all medical, emergency, sanitation and other humane services. Sector Security are devoting all resources to find the leader of this group, and our mayor will be commenting shortly." The news woman reported.

"There's a duel gang in your city, that just stole all of the city's funds?" Jaden asks.

"That's the gist of it, but they have so many followers Jaden that they, captured all my friends." Yusei chokes on his words.

"But hey Yusei everything will be okay! Since you got me, we can place a beating on these thugs and find their leader, we can refund all the stolen cash, dethrone the leader and the whole operation will crumble." Jaden says.

"You sound like you've been watching lots of crime TV." Yusei chuckles.

"It gets boring at class, and we don't really have cable so I actually read a little in my free time, but don't tell anyone!" Jaden says. 

"I'll take it to the grave. But, in order to store money like that these guys have to have a decent size hideout." Yusei comments.

"Scoot over," Jaden takes control of Yusei's keyboard. "If I can look up foreclosures in structures around the city, and see which one is the most recent for the size we can maybe find them." Jaden explains. 

"You do that, and tell me what you find." Yusei gets up.

"Where you goin?" Jaden asks.

"Going to the fridge, I know that I'm a little cotton-mouted from the time travel, want something?" Yusei asks.

"Whatever works." Jaden keeps typing.

Yusei brings back a can of diet soda, and they crack open the cans together and begin researching real estate. 

After about a half hour Jaden shouts in excitement, waking Yusei up from a nap. 

"Yes! I finally got a lead. There's this skyscraper that has been in foreclosure for only a couple weeks. I don't know the address, but I'm sure you do?" Jaden shows Yusei.

Yusei widens his eyes and reads, processing the information. "That's Uptown. Interesting, and that skyscraper is just down a couple blocks from a Sector Security precinct." Yusei says.

"So we can bust them?" Jaden asks.

"Not yet, we will need to scope it out, Sector Security is spread thin looking for these guys, and until we know they're actually there I shouldn't waste their time." Yusei explains.
