hot-headed ;; leon is extremely stubborn and hot-headed, often clashing with anyone who dares to stand in his way or defy him. as a child, he was known to throw temper tantrums if he didn't get his way, and that habit was, sadly, never broken. he seems to snap at tiny things, and his patience is practically nonexistent.
ambitious ;; however bratty he may be, leon strives to be better in everything he does. if the sky is the limit, then he's going to go higher. he wants to break boundaries and push limits, and isn't one to follow the rules because of his blinding ambition. he wants to be known as someone other than a prince, and soon to be king. he wants to change the world.
very intelligent ;; growing up, leon was only given the best of the best in every aspect, including education. he's had a countless number of private tutors, and whatever he had learned seemed to stick, because he definitely knows what's up in the world. he's opinionated, and isn't afraid to speak out if he thinks someone is wrong. and fortunately, most of the time, his arguments are generally right, meaning your chances of ever winning an argument against him are slim, unless you're as educated as he is.

this isn't a fantasy world like álfur; women are highly oppressed. though your character can speak out against it, beware that there might be some in-roleplay consequences. like, since your character isn't royal, there could be some lashings involved.
ALSO THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT
we have to decide who's playing the princess, but keep in mind, if you play the princess, roleplay with her as if she's happy to be married. i want them both to try and make the arranged marriage work, until your main character jumps in (cue the future affair).─━─ᔕᑕEᑎᗩᖇIO─━─

france had been a kingdom of turmoil, riots and civil wars happening right within the country. not only that, but their resources were dwindling. and after several years, though the riots came to an end, the kingdom continued to deteriorate, the buildings and streets becoming fragile. the crime rate skyrocketed, and the kingdom soon found itself struggling to produce oil and timber, since wood was used for several large projects.
england, however, was thriving. they had resources, both naturally produced and imported, and the economy was amazing.
arranged marriages were extremely common at the time, especially between royalty. so, the king of france set up an arrangement with the king of england. the king of england needed to find his eldest girl a suitable husband, so he accepted the king of france's proposition for an arranged marriage.ʀᴇǫᴜɪʀᴇᴍᴇɴᴛs⌟

you had practically grown up within the stony walls of the castle, as your sister was a princess. and not just any princess; she was the princess. the eldest. of course, that never really meant anything when you two were younger. but now that she had hit twenty-one, she was being married off to a to-be king of france. despite how humble the princess acted, you knew she was excited, and you were excited, too.
and as the months droned on, you'd been sure that the princess wasn't getting married after all, as you'd never met the guy. until, one evening at a dinner hosted by the king and queen themselves, they announced that there was going to be a grand party, and the prince of france would be attending.
now, three weeks later, you found yourself standing in the ballroom, wearing a dress made of fine silks and other fabrics, intricate detailed embroidered onto the bodice.
you'd caught brief glimpses of the french prince, though you'd always be whisked away by the princess to help her look good.
finally, after getting some time to yourself, you managed to sneak away and into the gardens. you walked down the cobblestone path, bushes surrounding you. you found comfort within the floral scenery, however, you quickly learned you were not alone. because then, your gaze focused on a male figure. he was sitting on a bench, his tie was untied and the first few buttons of his shirt were unbuttoned.
he hadn't noticed you, but you noticed him. and you knew exactly who he was.
why wasn't the prince of france inside?

make one up!NOTE FROM ARIKA ;;
alright, one, his personality is copied from another character of mine in my oc book; i really like how i had set up said other character, so i kinda wanted leon to be like him lmao.i might have two more characters - one male, one female - in the way, but then again, i might not lmao. i had an idea, but then i went to work, and i kinda forgot? i'll try to remember though, in case my two current characters don't suit anyone!
