Chapter Nine: "I Knew It..."

Kookie: *looks down and whispers...* "Jin..."

*Yoongi paused and turned the car back off. He turned his whole body in his seat and faced the front in disbelief...*

Yoongi: "I'm sorry um...can you repeat that please? Because I know you didn't say Jin..."

Kookie: "Look baby don't overreact..."

Yoongi: "Overreact??? Kookie why in the hell do you need to see Jin ALONE at 11:30 pm at night for!?"

Kookie: "Because I...I..."

Yoongi: "You what?!?!"

Kookie: "I need to ask him if he and Jimin are still seeing each other..."

*Yoongi let's out a huge sigh and places his head on the stirring wheel of the car. Kookie could tell he was growing more and more impatient with him*

Yoongi: "Baby..." *He says with pure agitation in his voice*

Kookie: "I know I know but I just need to know. I have to..."

Yoongi: "Why??? If Jimin is still seeing Jin that is not our problem! We aren't dating Jimin...why do you insist on dragging yourself into Jimin and Joonie's relationship??? You know you have one of your own right?" *He looks at him sternly*

Kookie: "Don't act like that, Yoongi Mochi is my best friend, he's damn near a brother to me and if he is doing something that is potentially going to ruin his life I have to be there for him and tell him what he's doing is wrong! Plus NamJoon is your family, wouldn't you tell him if his boyfriend was cheating on him if you knew?"

Yoongi: "If I found out on my own, of course but I wouldn't play detective trying to find out what HIS boyfriend is doing because it's NOT MY PROBLEM!"

Kookie: "Chim is like a brother to be Yoongi, I just want to protect him and make sure he's not ruining his life..."

Yoongi: "You say he's like a brother to you but yet you treat him like a son...as if your his parent or something. Or maybe..." *he tilts his head down*

Kookie: "Maybe What?"

Yoongi: "Maybe you care so much about Jimin's relationship because...you like him more than a friend..."

*Kookie is completely thrown off by Yoongi's response. That thought never EVER crossed Kookie's mind because he always saw Jimin as a brother...*

Kookie: "Yoongi seriously??? That's impossible. If I liked Jimin then I would have pursued him, we've been friends since elementary school. Baby please..." *He grabs his hands* "It's nothing like that. I promise. Don't make this more than what it is...please?"

Yoongi: "Can you blame me for being suspicious Kookie?"

*Kookie sighs. He completely understands how it can look fishy how he's so over protective about Jimin and Tae too...but he also knows it's not in the way Yoongi thinks. He leans in putting his hand behind Yoongi's neck and pulls him in for a deep passionate kiss. Once they slowly separate he says*

Kookie: "I am only in love with you Min Yoongi. I don't know how it happened but it did...your stuck with me. I just want to be to a good friend...that's it."

Yoongi: *subtly smiled* "Fine. So what's your plan? Your just going to be blunt and ask him?"

Kookie: "Not really...I do have an idea...it will take a lot of finesse...but I think it'll work."
