soon they all arrive at the cafeteria. they walk to the table and when they get there yoongi and chanyeol were talking. the rest of the guys where doing their things. kook introduces yugyeom to the rest of the guys. they all seem to like him and start a conversation with him.

kook talks to yugyeom while jimin sits on the opposite side of the table talking with chanyeol.

jimin's pov

i was talking to chanyeol about school and some of his new crushes.

"jiminie i think i am starting to have feelings for yoongi", chanyeol says with a sweet smile.

"ah really yoongi is nice when he wants and then grumpy most of the time i think he needs a partner to love him and bring his happy side out", i suggest with a bright smile.

"ah it's just he is perfect, and he told me he does music he is a very talented man", chanyeol says while thinking about yoongi. i then start paying more attention to kook and yugyeom.

yugyeom was teasing kook and then i guess says something that makes kook blush. they seem to be very close to each other maybe even more than me and kook.

i then see kook starring at me so i quickly look away. i act as if chanyeol was telling me something interesting.

kook's pov

i was talking to yugyeom about our past. i haven't told anyone, but yugyeom is my ex. we were once lovers but then broke it off because of his family. he left and went to his hometown. and i was left here with a broken heart. then i met jimin and he started to help me be happy again.

"do you remember that one time we went to the park and you spilled all of your ice cream on my shirt and then I made you lick it up you were so embarrassed", yugyeom says while laughing at kook.

i blush and look down. when i bring my eyes up to look at yugyeom i see jimin starring back at us. we connect gazes for 5 seconds and then he looks away. i wanted to tease him and see his reaction to i start to get closer to yugyeom.

"ah, i think i found my new best friend", i say loudly enough for jimin to hear.

jimin's pov

i clearly hear kook. i then look at him and he is looking back at me. i can see he is doing this to tease me and get a reaction out of it. but i won't let him win if he wants to play this game i can play too.

author's pov

just then the bell rings indicating lunch is over. jimin has history next with luckily kook, chanyeol, and tae. they all walk together and jimin starts geting closer to chanyeol. he giggles and blushes at everything chanyeol says. and acts as if they are lovers. jimin could see at the corner of his eyes, kook trying to hide his anger.

usually jimin would sit with kook, but he decides to sit with chanyeol. all class jimin and chanyeol were talking to each other.

kook is fuming with anger.

skip to the end of school

all the guys were outside of the gate talking. yugyeom is talking to kook, and jimin is alone because chanyeol ditched him for yoongi. they were all dismissed and yugyeom walks together with kook.

jimin wonders why yugyeom is going with them. they all then get in the car and kook speaks up.

"jimin ah we will be taking yugeyom home first it's closer"

"ok", jimin says as he smiles.

the whole car ride jimin feels like a third wheel. kook wasn't even paying attention to jimin. they then get to yugyeom's house, kook and yugyeom dismissed each other. "bye kookie i will see you tomorrow ", yugyeom says with a small smile.

"bye yumyum see you too tomorrow", kook says in a sweet tone.

jimin has never heard kook talk like that to no one and wonders if there is more to yugyeom's and jungkook's relationship.

jimin then moves to the front seat after yugeyom leaves. he asks kook a question, "what was yugyeom to you in the past koo koo?"

"he um- was my ex but then we broke up for reasons ", kook says.

it all then makes sense to jimin. why they are so close to each other and why kook has another side for yugyeom. "do you still have feelings for him?", Jimin says bluntly not realizing how deep that question is.

kook just shrugs and keeps quiet.

"oh- well whatever"

jimin was more than hurt, the thought of jungkook still having feelings for yugyeom breaks him. and maybe they will get together again and jimin would never have a chance with his koo koo. they soon arrive at jimin's house.

"bye", jimin says as he looks down to afraid of looking at the boy besides him. "bye chim and we should finish our project tomorrow", kook suggest. jimin nods in agreement as he closes the car door. he walks into his house without looking back.
