Draco's POV

"To be very honest with myself I am adored by every girl in this school even that mud blood and I know I can just win yours as well" I said talking to y/n one of my best friends at Hogwarts we been knowing each other ever since baby's and she never once in her life liked anyone. She was the most meanest girl I knew but also the only girl that actually understood me not to mention she rarely never gets emotional about anything. I hated how she never liked me I mean everyone likes me who doesn't like me besides potter. "Draco I will never like or love you if I do it's only as a friend way you know that already dumbass" y/n said while moving farther from me.

Somehow that sting and I didn't understand why I mean it hurt a lot but why? "Y/n lets date come on" I said trying to see what she'll said all that came out was nothing she just looked at the ground. "Y/n is that a yes or a ..." But before I could say it "are you serious right now" was all she said before looking up at the fire burning. "So you do" I said trying to see but she still didn't say anything in fact it was almost as if I was back at the manor. "Y/n it's not real I was just playing around" she looked up and smiled weakly at me. "Of course it... is" she said looking at me with no emotion on her face. "Y/n are you-" " yea I'm fine" she said while walking out of the common room and leaving me here clueless.

Y/n POV

I walked out crying cause I've liked him for so long knowing all he ever wanted was for me to like him cause everyone else did he only wanted me to like him so I could be of those toys he plays with. Well I'm not a toy so NO ONE CAN PLAY WITH ME!!!! I thought angrily to myself. I ran all the way down to the black lake and started crying out of nowhere the snake comes. "Y/n what's wrong" Draco says sitting next to me and rubbing circler motions on my back.

5 mins in silence*****

I wiped up my last tears and walked to the lake. While getting my shoes soaked Draco ask " was it because of earlier " I nodded " y/n you can't always take things this serious " he said now standing up facing my back. "Well I take it serious when it comes to my feelings!" He just stood there as I looked at him with daggers.

Draco's POV

"So you do-" But before I can say a word " DRACO I HAD LIKED YOU FOR SUCH A LOMG TIME AND WATCHING YOU AND OTHER GIRLS GET TOGETHER HURT SO BAD CAUSE I WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR YOU ANYWHERE AT ANYTIME BUT YOU WERE BLIND ENOUGH NOT TO SEE WHO WAS ALWAYS THERE ME!." She said this as tears fell " your happiness is my happiness but now all I know is that your happiness is your pride for yourself not others." She said this calming but with a tint of sadness I didn't know what to say because I kinda felt the same of how she felt about me.

"Y/n you are my best friend and your happiness will always be mine" I couldn't tell her how I really felt but I knew the word 'friend' was not what I felt about her she was right she was always there for me and I really seem to never be there for her. "Just say it" she said this quietly "say what y/n" I said calming knowing she would break if I laugh or ask rudely "say you don't love me" she said looking in my eyes as her e/c eyes glowed in the sun and her h/c hair moved slightly covering her face. "Y/n I can't say that cause i do in a.....friendly way" I said trying not to break her even though ever second broke me. "Say it to my face and I'll be happy if you really are my friend then say this to make me happy! She this as tears ran down like water falls on her cheeks " i don't love you" I said quietly "say it louder Draco "I don't love you" I said this in my normal voice "louder Draco!" She said this again with more rage " Y/N I WILL NEVER LOVE YOU " I said this screaming at her she smiled weak and more tears fell " I...I wish...I never...loved you....Draco Malfoy" she said this and I broke I didn't know what to do or what to even say. She looked at the sky as the sun was setting and turned around away from me "it was nice knowing you even when you you hurt me but always know I love you " she said this and jumped in my eyes widen as tears ran as so did I ran and jumped in to find her I had too cause I realized something I love her too.

I found her and brought her up I saw how she looked so lifeless and how pale her skin was she was so cold and I was acting like that to her without even knowing. I carried her into the castle and burst though the doors "HELP PLEASE SHE'S DIEING" I said this as possessors all around came and helped I sat down waiting to see if she was ok my last love.
