I sliced through the thick green vines, the grip of my blade never slacking. I wiped the wet strands of black hair from my eyes, only to squint at the sun. It's brighter than usual. There were no signs of clouds anywhere, and it was peaceful. The birds were chirping happily and butterflies and bees flew around from flower to flower.
There was one butterfly that caught my eye; the wings were a rainbow color and the way it flew passed was just...
Majestic...
As I watched it closer, I saw it land on a small pale finger, its nail painted a pastel purple. I heard a light giggle and a deep chuckle, and I walked closer to see two girls, one behind a large book and the other sitting on the floor playing while laughing...
