Hide and Seek (4)

Mr Leo Collins. I remember him well, quite nice to me though. I felt like his favorite student but I still acted normal around him. Not acting kind or freezing up whenever he approached me, but thinking of him like a friend (Not in a weird way tho).  He knew about my life outside of school but it always seemed like he was totally oblivious to it. All the teachers knew about me and each one gave me 'the special treatment'. I always felt weird when I had one of those teachers, letting me eat in class or allowing me on my phone. It wasn't that I hated doing any of those things, I just didn't feel normal. No one else was eating or on their phones, just me. 

I place down the receipt and finish cleaning the bed and room. I place the receipt on his bed side table and jog back down into the living room. He was snoring loudly on the couch. I grab another blanket and cover him with it. I decide to sleep on the couch with him so I grab a cushion and a thin blanket and fall asleep

It's morning ( 4:30am )...

I wake to the sound of the wood peckers outside. I glance at Jimmy, still snoring. I get up off of the couch and head of the shower. After shower... I chuck on the Diamond Beats shirt, some black leggings and some black socks. When I walk back into the living room, Jimmy had just gotten up and gave me a tired but friendly smile. He walked into the bathroom and locked the door. I sat on the couch and played on my phone, exploring all the new features on the Iphone 10. While I was setting up my Face ID, a notification came from Jimmy's phone. I flip his phone over. 'Leo Collins: Received the payment, Thanks Bud. Also I-'. I hear the toilet flush and the sink running. I quickly flip the phone back over and act like I'm watch YouTube on my phone. We waddles into the kitchen and grabs some Pop-Tarts from the cupboard. He gestures to me to come eat some so I walk over to the counter and sit. I take a pop-tart, snap it in half and place them both in my mouth. I chew, chew and chew. Jimmy is just throwing them into his mouth and swallowing them without chewing. Another notification comes from Jimmy's phone. I walks to the couch casually and picks it up. He glanced at the new and old message then slide his phone into his pocket. "We're gonna film another challenge, Extreme Hide and Seek." I nod, trying to empty the remaining crumbs from the Pop-Tart box. "Who do you want to be partnered with?". I hold up my finger and swallow hard, "Chandler". "Chandler, really?" "Well yeah, he has to win one challenge so I wanna help him out". "If that what you want.". He shrugs. He heads for his room to change.

Jimmy walks down the stairs in a Kawaii Mr Beast Jumper, a pair of jeans, white converses and a great smile.

We walk to the car and I finally sit in the right seat. He starts the engine and says "You didn't have to". I first think about it not remembering what I did good. "Oh yeah.. all good". I still didn't know what he was talking about so I made my answer super vague. "My room hadn't looked that good in ages". I remember I cleaned his room last night. We park in front of the warehouse. I jump out and walk next to Jimmy. The others are dressed in camouflage costumes. Chandler is wearing a gorilla suit. "Instant regret" I whisper to Mr Beast. "Good Luck", he chuckles. I walk towards Chandler. "I got you one too!". I barely understand his words, he suit was blocking any sound from the suit and probably any hearing to. He points to a nearby plastic bag. "No thanks". I swing a plastic bag in front of his face, inside were a black shirt, pants, shoes and a black mask. I throw another bag on his lap, inside was the same things but in his size. We walks in his Gorilla suit to the other room, bag in hand and his head hung down. I borrow Jimmy's keys and go change in the car. 

I change and walk back in...

Jimmy explains the rules, restrictions, teams and then hands us a Go-Pro each. He says that we have to be back here at 5:00pm. The seekers were Ethan and Garrett. The other teams jumped in cars and we drove off. For some reason Chandler wanted to leave last. We waited for the others to leave. The seekers were counting to 50 and they were on on 25. "Come on!" I whisper. He walks out and crosses the road. I remember his car parked next to Jimmy's so are we just going to walk? He unlocks a rental car. "Ohhhh". He glances back and grins at me. I jump in the back. "In the box on the floor is a disguise, chuck it on". In the box was a tuxedo, bow and a wig. I look up at him in the mirror with an unimpressed expression on my face. We pull over and I throw his disguise in the front passenger seat. I jump to the very back seats and change. I jump back in my disguise. Chandler was dressed as a women, smart move. He was planing to hang out on the boarder of were the challenge was set. 

Current time: 6:45pm

We sat in the car on our phones, sharing funny jokes and memories. Before 5 o'clock we had to be back at the warehouse. Chandler starts the car back up and we drive back. I notice a Tesla heading in the same direction so I tell Chandler to pull up at the local, Sonic restaurant. We order some food and go to the warehouse. He park in the same spot and sprint into the warehouse. FINALLY CHANDLER WON A CHALLENGE!! We sit and enjoy our food, watching each group come in huffing and puffing. The expressions on their face PRICELESS. It was 5:10pm and We see Ethan, Garrett walk in with the unlucky teams. Their mouths drop when they see Chandler and I sitting eating Sonic. Jimmy comes to congratulate us and hands every 1000 dollars but hands us 5000 dollars each.

We sit at his table, joking at all the challenges he had lost. He says a speech and thanks his family and friends. There's a knock on the door so I go to open it. The ominous figure puts his hands over my mouth and carries me outside to a large black van....
