Lonely Nights - Chapter 4

Umm Zoya!! Aditya spoke with a bit awkwardness and Zoya turned to understand what Aditya wanted to say that was making him mumble.

Raat bhi bohot hogayi hain aur baarish bhi hain bahar, toh mein sochraha tha ki tum I mean tum chaho toh aj raat ke liye yehi rehsakti ho!!
Aditya stammered in nervousness but soon veiled his nervousness under his bossy nature with great effort. Zoya smiled noticing his care. He still cared for her. And she was getting proof of this time by time.

Thik hain!! Zoya agreed with a small smile.

Umm!! Aditya was confused how to start the conversation.

Hum maa ke kamre me sojayenge.. Zoya solved his untold misery and left to the kitchen to take some dinner for Anjaana.

She smiled thinking about his awkwardness. She was serving Anjaana's dinner on a plate while thinking about Aditya. She was getting amused time by time. How can someone be so rude to his workers yet so pure by heart. That's what she loves about Aditya. He can never be angry on someone for long. And even he was angry on someone, he wouldn't hurt anyone. His pure heart wouldn't allow him to do so.

She knew that he was angry on her or maybe hurt by knowing Rajveer was her husband now and he will try to take revenge on her, but her heart had belief on him, that he wouldn't heart her ever for his revenge game.

She took the plate containing Anjaana's dinner and left for Anjaana's room. There she started feeding Anjaana lovingly.

Pata hain Pari, yahaan jitni bhi nurse aaye the na sab mujhe jaldbaazi me khila dete the... Mein khan hi pati thi.. Par tum na bohot acchi ho.. Kitni pyaar se khilati ho.. Tum humesha ke liye yahin rehjao na..
Anjaan spoke her heart out with twinkling eyes as after long 2 years she was gaining some love from someone. Her Adi never come to her twice in a day and she hadn't seen Harsh or Arjun from past 2 years. She was yearning for them, their attention. And after finally getting some love from her Pari, she couldn't let Pari go away from her.

Ha!! Ap pehle khana toh khalijiye!!
Zoya brushed the topic off as she knew she could never fulfill Anjana's this wish, even if she herself wanted this. Destiny! It played its card. She smiled sadly.

Suddenly the door got opened and Aditya entered the room.

Adi!! Anjaana squealed in happiness like a kid.

Maa apne dinner karliya?
Aditya sat beside Anjaana and hugged her to lessen his inner turmoil which was gifting him a sleepless night much to his surprise.

Ha!! Pari bohot pyaar se khila rahi hain mujhe.. Pari, tum mere Adi ko bhi khilake do na.. Ajkal ye khata bhi hi hain kuch.. Tum khilaoge toh zaroor khayega..
Anjaana demanded like a kid unknown to the fact that what effect was causing to Aditya and Zoya by her words. Many unwanted beautiful memories came running to their mind bringing fresh tears. But Aditya vein it outstandingly.

Maa mein khud kha lunga, ap chinta maat kijiye!!
Aditya mumbled awkwardly to brush the topic off.

Nhi nhi.. Pari tum khilao na mere Adi ko!!
Anajaana demanded again with a tint of sadness

Thik hain, hum khila dete hain!! Zoya whispered and forwarded the spoon to Aditya

-Ahh!
Aditya moaned as that cradle pricked his wound

- Lijiye, hum apko khila dete hain.
She replied with a smile and started feeding her.

Those memories flashed in front of them like a white & black movie. She was feeding him again like those old days but the only difference is they are no more friends, leave alone being in love. Though she still loved him, deep inside she knew he too loved her, but their destiny made them apart. She wasn't angry on him for his deeds she was just disappointed by the fact that he never believed her. Aditya never thought he would get another chance to have food by her hands. She may have cheated him, he might hate her, but deep inside he still crave for her, unknown to the fact that he was wrong, he still loved her and his heart still believed that she was never in fault.
