Kings Landing
"He never wanted you to be a King's Guard, but here you are, protecting his dead body." Cersei's voice carried over the stillness of the Sept of Baelor, reaching Jaime's ears.
"What he built. The Towers. He built it for us. He meant it for us. They're going to try to take it away, all of it," Jaime continued the conversation, glancing down at their father.
"They?" Cersei asked looking up at Jaime, before glancing back down at Tywin Lannister.
"All of them out there are enemies. They're waiting a night to make sure he's really dead and as soon as they see the stones on his eyes, they'll set to work on tearing us apart." Jaime said more aggressively looking at Cersei. She glanced at him before rolling her eyes.
"They had nothing to do with it. The man who murder our father, he tore us apart, he's the enemy. I've been telling you for years, you've been defending him for years!" Her voice slightly raising, her breathing more hitched.
"This is exactly what they want," Jaime muttered. Cersei moved closer to Tywin and further from Jaime.
"and now our father is dead. And that little monster is out there somewhere drawing breath. Did you set him free?" She asked once, not expecting a response since she knew the answer.
"Tyrion may be a monster but at least he killed our father on purpose. You killed him by mistake. With stupidity." She hissed out before moving towards Tywin's head.
"You're a man of action, aren't you? When it occurs to you to do something you do it, never mind the consequences. Take a look," She gestured towards Tywin, anger filling her eyes. "Look at the consequences. Here they are. He loved you more than anyone in this world," Cersei kissed Tywin on the head before taking her leave. Jaime continued to stare at the man they called father. Blue stone eyes covered his real ones, a black, red, and gold armor covering him. Jaime clenched his jaw before looking away. Jaime's golden armor clanking in the process, he lightly drew near him. He glanced down once more and shook his head.
The Wall
Jon lunged forward hitting Olly's shield, grunting in the process. He took a step back, dodging Olly's swipe with the blunt edge sword. Continuing backwards, Olly's sword clanked against Jon's shield, sounds of metal clanking against it. Suddenly, Jon aimed his sword towards the nape of Olly's neck.
"Get your shield up," Jon commanded, his sword still aimed at Olly's neck.
"It's too heavy," Olly complained not complying with Jon's command. Jon continued to push Olly further back, his sword still threatening the nape.
"If it wasn't heavy it wouldn't stop a sword, now get it up!" Jon released his sword from his neck, giving Olly mere seconds to respond. Jon lunged forward once more, bringing his sword, he banged against the shield and the poor weak boy, before finally knocking Olly into the ground. Jon looked at him before grabbing his arm and pulling him back up.
"Come. Try it again. Drive at me. Keep your shield up. Or I'll ring your head like a bell," Jon smirked as he shook Olly's hair cause Olly to smile back at Jon. And once more they were parrying. Jon was then showing Olly how to lift his sword and attack. Olly nodded in response and continued.
"Good, good, Pivot!" He yelled at Olly, "Don't Forget to pivot! Shield up!" Jon lifted his shield blocking the attacks that poor Olly gave. Olly stopped only to look behind Jon causing him to turn around.
"The king wants a word," Melisandre told Jon, expecting him to follow her up towards the Wall. He nodded put his shield and blunt edge sword back and grabbed his heavy black cloak. He quickly followed Melisandre up towards the lift. They nodded to the man, notifying him that they wished to go up. Jon felt Melisandre stare and only could glance at her before looking back out at Castle Black.
