Chapter 2

"Nice toss!"

"Cool receive!!"

"Nice job guys!"

"Can I have everybody's attention please?" one of the girl managers yelled, she was heard across the gym and both the teams and adults turned to look at the group of managers.

"The diner's ready soon! If you want to eat then you better start packing up now!!"

The boys called matches off and began packing up for the day.

"All right good job! Nice played!"

"Thank you!"

The Karasuno team went ahead to their dorm and one person from each year group went to the middle of the group, they were the representatives of each year to decide who would take a bath first since four people could barely fit in there.

"Alright, let's see!" Tanaka yelled. Asahi and Yamaguchi just laughed awkwardly.

"Not gonna lose! Jan-Ken-Pon!" Tanaka once again yelled, and they all threw their "weapons" in the middle of the small circle.

"Yeah!" Yamaguchi made a fist bump in the air as he went away. Tanaka was visibly depressed as Asahi sweat dropped.

"H-hey, Tanaka. It's alright maybe you'll win now?"

"Asahi! Don't let him take advantage of you!" Daichi yelled as Asahi visibly tensed.

"Jan-Ken-Pon!" to Tanakas very, extremely, actually pathetic luck... he failed his friends once again.

"AGHH DARN IT!!!!"

Ennoshita sighed as Shōyō snickered while grabbing his towel and other things he might need. The first years walked to the bath peacefully, if you could call it peacefully considering Kageyama and Shōyō weren't running around but bickering.

"Please give me the strength to not beat them up..." Tsukishima muttered under his breath as Yamaguchi chuckled.

Once they were in the bath Shōyō took his non-visible hearing aids off and hid them between his clothes. He walked inside where the other three were already in the water, he went to wash himself and glanced in the mirror every now and then to check if someone was talking to him.

"Hey, Hinata." no response.

"Hey!" again no response.

"DUMBASS DON'T IGNORE ME!" Shōyō still wasn't responding as he was cleaning himself with water.

"Leave that shrimp alone, he probably got soap in his ears and now can't hear you." Tsukishima said as he closed his eyes.

"Sounds like something he would manage..." Yamaguchi laughed.

At that moment Shōyō turned around and looked at them confused.

"What are you guys talking about?" he said a little louder than intended.

"So he really got soap in his ears!" Yamaguchi said surprised.

"HUH?! I can't hear you!!" truth is, of course he couldn't hear them, but he knew what they had said but he decided to just play along.

"How much of an idiot can you be, dumbass Hinata?! Getting soap in your ears and all!"

"HA?! I'm not a dumbass Bakageyama!" now that wasn't a miracle, he just read Kageyamas lips, or tried to considering it was foggy. He walked over to them and slid into the water relaxing.

A small sound of a crash could be heard from the changing room, the three boys that heard it turned to look at the door.

"What's happening? What are you guys looking at?" Shōyō asked as he looked at them.
