Ride has sent Verne a private message.

Ride: Hi there, Verne.  How are you today?

Verne: Greetings!  I am well.  How are you?

Ride: Seriously, still "greetings"?  And I'm fine, thanks.

Verne: It is a proper salutation.  Isn't that important?

Ride: I guess?

Verne: Is it nighttime or daytime where you live?

Ride: Nighttime, past midnight.  What about where you live?

Verne: Same...nighttime.

Ride: Early into the night or late?

Verne: Just nighttime.

Ride: How cryptic of you.

Verne: I'm being truthful.  Why are you up so late?

Ride: I'm waiting for the international space station to soar over.  Will you be able to see it?

Verne: I do not believe that I will...take a picture of it for me?

Ride has sent an image.

Verne: Wow...

Ride: Right?

Verne: The stars and the international space station look fantastic.  It's a great picture.

Ride: I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or sincere.

Verne: Sincere.  I'm not sarcastic.

Ride: Well, thanks...I guess.  The stars just make me feel less lonely, ya know?

Verne: I do know.  It makes us all feel connected.

Ride: Exactly.

Verne: Are you lonely?

Ride: Right now?  No.  My friend the moon is out.

Verne: Is that your only friend?

Ride: I don't like people.  So yeah, the moon is my only friend.

Verne: We could be friends?

Ride: I'm not good with friends.  I don't trust others easily.

Verne: I take it that's a no to being friends?

Ride: We can give it a try.  Friends.

Verne: Friends.
