Frosbite (Natsu x Gray)

Natsu Dragneel

As a kid, Natsu was in the hospital, basically growing up there, how it all stared? Well thats a tough roller coaster.

He had a sickness, well not really a "sickness", it was actually a problem with his lungs. One of them was comepletey combressed and breathing was Definatly a problem for him.

He's been through many surgies and tests to try to make his lungs more normal and to help with his breathing. He eventually was able to walk around but had to carry 2 containers of oxegen and had tubes in his nose and folded behind his ears, kinda like a clear mustage.

His father was stressed with all of this and one day left without a word when Natsu was just a todler. Doctors said he left on April 7 2012. So he was practically Raised there.

His step brother, Zeref on the other hand, always visited him since his neighborhood was right next to the hospital. They usually talked about their dreams, played around and make jokes. Zeref would ask how was it at the hospital and Natsu would ask how it was like out there.

Later on Zeref talked about how it was like at scool and how boring it was, but Natsu would always listened to his stories and complaints. Heck, sometimes he even begged Zeref to tell him how his day was when he came back from school. He wanted to go there so badly, hanging around with people, sports, learning. It became one of Natsu's dreams to go to school one day..

Present day:

Natsu was now 17 and he took classes for education online. Though, summer was getting closer to an end and suposidly Natsu would be at his Junior year of highschool.

The pink haired male sat on his bed and tapped his finger on his food tray. Since Natsu wasnt really "sick" he didnt have to wear those hospital dresses, so he was wearind baggy pants and a loose T. He was counting the seconds ready to see his doctor again.

He groaned and layed back, why was time going by so slow? 30 minutes later of long waiting his door opened. He sat up fast, only to see one of his friends, Lisana.

"Oh it's you." Natsu crossed his arms and frowned. "Hay I just wanted to check on you, you dont have to give me sass." Lisana lightly said and giggled softly. She rolled in the room on her wheel chair.

Yea a wheel chair,

When she was a preteen, Lisanna had a caring family and an awesome brother and a sister. They all usually go to the roof of their house to look at the sky. But one day her brother wasnt even in the mood. Lisanna question him worried and he snapped at her, and eventually, accidently pushing her off the roof.

Up to this day she hadnt got up from a wheel chair since. During her stay in the hospital, she became close friends with Natsu and they became hospital buddies.

"Who are you waiting for?" She asked curious and rolled next to his bed side. Natsu huffed and rolled his head to look at her. "Im waiting for Dr. Igneel, I've been wanting to tell him something." He aswered looking at his figiting hands.

"Are you still trying to convince him?" Lissana had already knew Natsu's dream of going to Actual high school.

"Y- yea. But this time I will convince him, I was doing research and found a high school not far from here actually. I could easily just walk there, with a help of a map, of course," He scratched his neck chuckling a bit before clearing his throat "Anyway, imma throw in some puppy eyes and say that you only live once and hope that convices him."
