You drew me a picture. So inevitably detailed. Almost like the description on the backside cover of a book. It made me feel safe. You explained what our love would be like, making promise after promise, you slowly lurked me into believing the picture you drew. The picture you drew, it was the answer to all my questions. It left me speechless. Shocked. Numb. When the picture you drew disappointed me. When reality was nothing like the colorful sky or explosion of goodness like the one drawn on paper, I was blown into eternity of misery. What can I do now? So foolish and blind I was, to the beautiful boy with the bright brown hair and honest eyes. I turned into void. I was empty. Blank. And yet all I wished for was to once again be recognized. By you.
