I woke up to the sound of my phone's alarm, reaching across my girlfriend, Mia, to grab it and turn it off.

"Hey hey, wakey wakey baby~." I whispered softly, placing a kiss on her forehead.

I gave her a few more kisses before she started to move, rustling around in the covers she got herself tangled in overnight.

"Mmm.. I don't wanna..." She whined, burying her face in the crook of my neck while she wrapped her arms around me, pulling me so close to the point of where no space lied in between us.

Taking advantage of her position, I began to tickle her on her side.

"H-hey.. No fair.." She mumbled.

I gave her a peck on the lips. "Might be the weekend, but we can't sleep forever.." I said.

Mia sat up slightly, taking my left cheek in her right hand and my right cheek in her left hand, squishing them in a way that gave me fish lips.

"Aww, how cuteee." She tiredly said before resting her head on my chest.

Rolling my eyes, I opened my phone up to Instagram, scrolling through my latest feed and checking stories.

Around three hours had passed, and I was starting to get hungry. Me being me though, I can't cook.

"Is it worth trying..?"

"Hey, babe, wake up." I sat up, shaking Mia to try to wake her up.

"W-what?" She tiredly asked.

"Oh good, you're up."

Getting out of bed, I put my phone in my pocket and went around to Mia's side of the bed. Gently, I lifted her up into my arms, holding her like a baby while the blanket dragged behind her since it was with her when I picked her up.

"What the hell are you doing?" Mia asked, rubbing her eyes to adjust to the light.

"I'm hungry, and can't cook." I explained, setting Mia down on her feet in front of the stove.

"You're kidding, right?" Mia asked, leaning against the countertop.

Shrinking into my shoulders, I looked away with a nervous smile, feeling my face heat up.

Mia let out a sigh. "Get out the pan, the eggs, and the spatula." She instructed.

Mia was doing most of the work making our scrambled eggs, and my job was to hold the pan. Why? So she had an excuse to hold my hand while cooking of course. Am I complaining? Nope.

The more we cooked, the more I noticed Mia nodding off, as if she was still tired. Looking over at my glass of ice water, I had an idea. Using my free hand, I grabbed the glass. Without much thinking, I dumped the ice water on top of Mia, nearly causing her to drop the pan if I hadn't been holding it.

"MEGAN! WHAT THE FUCK!" Mia shouted, her hair and pajamas soaked.

"Haha! You're awake now!" I grinned in success.

Mia handled me the spatula, walking over to the couch and taking a seat. "I'm not finishing making those, you are." She said, arms crossed.

"Still worth it.." I mumbled.

"SHUT IT!"

I did finish the eggs, and was also ordered to make my Princess's coffee. Setting the plates on the table, Mia and I ate breakfast together, talking about weird dreams or stupid things we've seen on social media.
