Tamaki had just arrived at y/n's house to study. The both of you had done this so many times before, that it had become a regular thing, but Tamaki being Tamaki, he was still nervous. Especially because you're parents were out of town this weekend. Even after all his time knowing you, you still gave him butterflies. He tried to brush the feeling off, because how could someone as amazing as you love, or even like someone like him?
And damn he couldn't be more wrong. Little did he know, you got butterflies too. You felt the same way that Tamaki felt about you, but the two of you were to oblivious to see it.
He knocked on the door to your home, and you opened the door with a bright smile. "Tamaki! "
You wrapped your arms around him in a hug, as he went a bright shade of red and hugged you back. "H-hey y/n how are you?"
"Good, you ready to study for that science test Tama?" You wiggled your eyebrows at him and saw the slightest smile curl up onto Tamaki's lips.
He put a hand on the back of his neck anxiously. "Yeah lets do it."
He walked in and you guys got settled in and started to study.
~Time skip~

It was late now, and you and Tamaki were laying comfortablyon your bed studying. He was tired and so were you. You and him bave been studying for hours and were definitely ready to call it a night.
"Tama do you just wanna stay here tonight?"
You looked over to him and he was sleeping soundly, softly snoring now and then. You smiled at this. You gathered all of the studying suplies spread out on the bed, and plopped it down on the floor not wanting to wake Tamaki by getting off the bed. You turned off the light and lied back down.
You thought of cuddling up next to Tamaki, but you didn't want to embarrass him come the next morning. You settled with just inching a tad closer, but not to close. You almost squealed when you felt Tamaki pull you into him. But how? You doubted that Tamaki would have the courage to do such a thing unfortunately. You looked up and he was still asleep.
You couldn't wake him, he would be extremely embarrassed. And although he was unbelievably cute when he blushed, you hated seeing him uncomfortable. You had no choice now but to snuggle into His warmth, but trust me you didn't mind one bit. You put your head into the crook of his neck as Tamaki held you tight in his arms.
"Goodnight Tama, sweet dreams."
And with that, you fell asleep.
~The next morning~

Tamaki's POV
Mmh. Wait why am I so comfortable? I open my eyes, and see Y/n snuggled into my chest.
Y / N I S S N U G G L E D I N T O M Y C H E S T .
I can't even see my face to know I'm blushing like a madman. I must have fallen asleep last night. What do I do. I can't wake her up obviously. As I'm thinking of my options, I feel Y/n stirr in my arms. She hummed and her eyes slowly opened.
"Goodmorning Tamaki."

3rd person.
"Goodmorning Tamaki"
"G-g-goodmorning Y/n. U-uh."
"You pulled me in in your sleep. It's okay I don't mind."
"I-I have to go. I'm really sorry Y/n."
He quickly got off the bed, and started messily grabbing his things.
You took a deep breath. It was time. If you didn't say anything now, he would make himself believe that you hated him, and would end up avoiding you for weeks. That's just how he was. And eventually, you would have to aproach him and talk things out. It was a never ending cycle and you hated it. You couldn't stand it any longer.
"Tamaki wait."
He ignored you and continued to mutter to himself. "Okay notebook science book-"
"I SAID WAIT."
This got his attention. He immediately dropped his things, and turned to you wide eyed and pale. You never raised your voice at him.
"Y/n I-"
You took a leap of faith.
'Rejection can't be that bad right?'
"I like you!"
"Y-you what?!"
"I like you goddamnit!"
"How can you-"
"For gods sake Tamaki!"
You got off the bed and started walking towards him
"W-what are you-"
You cut him off once more and scilenced him with a kiss. At first he was frozen still, but he soon realized this wasn't a dream and started kissing back.
Suddenly, he must have gained a boost of confidence, because as he melted into the kiss, Tamaki gripped your hips and pulled you even closer to him. Unfortunately, humans have to breathe, so you both eventually had to break apart. You leaned your head into his chest.
"Alright. I'm ready. Go ahead say it."
"What are you talking about?"
"Tell me you'r flattered but you don't feel the same. It's fine. I just had to do that atleast once."
"What the hell ard you talking about?! I've been dreaming about this kiss for years!"
You stared at him awestruck.
"Tama you idiot!" You giggled.
You put your head in the crook of his neck as you laughed. "Were both idiots...Iv'e liked you for forever and come to find out, you felt the same way this whole time? Are you kidding me?"
He put his chin on top of yours. Funny how your head fit perfectly under him. (Sorry if ur tall lmao) "This is so cliche almost as if it isn't real." He whispered.
"Oh trust me. You're aren't dreaming."
