Eren was cleaning himself from the dust that cling into his clothes for the 10th times now. He got used to tasting the sand first thing everyday. Then he would get up to face the ground again. "How long it took you to master this technique?" She moved her blonde hair from her blue eye "a week" his huge eyes widened "you're amazing annie!" He stood following her like a kid "neh Annie, do you thinking I'm improving?" He puffed his chest proudly. "Not at all" well at least she gave the attention he had been waiting for, even though it was a simple look by the corner of her eyes which lasted for only few seconds, he was happy with that, he didn't know why but he wanted to befriend her "what are you doing?" Now he had her full attention but not the way he wanted it, his shoulders tensed when she glare at him "eh, nothing" that only made her glare scarier "you're following me" eren blinked his eyes and was about to say yeah I know but this was annie not mikasa. So he gulped before answering since she wouldn't give up waiting "well..I wanted..you know ask if you want to have lunch with me..I mean us you know armin and mikasa ahahaha" he rubbed the back of his head when he noticed the change of expression at the last name he mentioned so he stopped talking. She turned and walked away, well it's not like he expected her to say yes and have lunch with him and fight with mikasa over anything but he hoped for few minutes, only more minutes to stay with her before she walked inside followed by mina.

Eren was silent all the times watching her from afar, he wasn't paying attention to what jean was saying he wondered if she was listening to mina, because she was only chewing slowly her lunch without saying anything but he gussied she was since mina at least received a look, sometimes nodding. How lucky mina was, he was begging for her attention all day and he received only few words which most of them were insults but at least she didn't ignore him. "Eren!" His head turned fast to his left and then he couldn't talk, mikasa had forced all the bread inside his mouth "You have to finish your lunch" he tried to say something but he couldn't. Jean couldn't take it anymore and slammed his fist on the table "Damn you Jaeger!!" Eren's eyes widened What was his problem now? Armin only sighed knowing what was coming next, they would fight until shadis come, Eren didn't look at the hands that were holding him back his green eyes was searching for someone and he stopped resisting when he met those blue eyes they were staring back at him but that wasn't all his heart almost escaped his chest when noticed a tiny smirk ,so small that no one would notice it but him because he had saved all of her features everyday.

They were walking to training again before sunset, "Eren are you ok?" Eren was grinning all the day even if though there was a bruise around his face he was still grinning " yeah let's go training!!" He walked faster in front of armin before he gasped and turned to armin with a terrified face "don't tell mikasa about this" he pointed to another bruise that was hiding behind his short hair armin nodded, eren was about to turn before his eyes fell on armin's hair. He reached to hold some strands then nodded before he left his friend in confusion.
Eren's eyes scanned the training ground searching for another blonde, there she was training with ymir, he watched ymir face the same fate he faced hours ago. "Eren" he looked behind mikasa was taking a position ready to train "let's train together " he was about to decline when he saw sasha facing the ground behind her and he needed rest. "Ahh mikasa I promised armin that I will train with him" Eren searched nervously for armin then his eyes fell on jean "Horseface!!" Jean looked around ready to kill whoever called him like that "dare to say it again Jaeger!" He rolled his shirt walking fast to him ready to punch "mikasa want to train" eren pointed at her and it seemed like jean's anger faded before his face turned red "we..well if that's what you want" he rubbed his head avoiding her eyes. And eren found his escape to armin. While they train armin found Eren's eyes disbanded to someone behind sometimes a smile would drew the dark haired boy's lips, sometimes a chuckled maybe a frown armin looked behind them curious to know the distraction and found annie preparing to another round then he looked back at his friend who was gazing in amazement armin smiled at his friend before eren got suddenly nervous he looked back at the female behind and found her glaring at eren.

[AT DINNER]

They all sat at their usual table eating their dinner and chatting. It was the same as before Jean would brag about himself and connie would cut his speech by making fun of him and they would fight again the only reason Jean sat at their table was because of mikasa, the only change at that dinner was eren he didn't fought with Jean or spoke about his dream and how he wanted to kill all the titans he was silent staring at the table in the far corner where only two girls sat on it. Then he felt someone squeezing his arm and he looked to armin who was smiling at him maybe a sign to encourage him to take a step and so he did. Eren held his dinner tightly and stood "eh where are you going?" Connie asked him and he didn't answer "eren" mikasa was about to follow him but armin caught her arm telling her to stay. He took his steps towards that table in the dark side of the room and sat drawing the hugest, ugliest maybe fake smile that he had to cover his nervousness " hey mina" he looked at mina and started to chat about anything and everything that came to his mind without waiting for her to even greet him back in the middle of his chat she stood and left and eren could do nothing but to stare at her back and only question was replaying inside his head. (Why did she left?)

It was his shift to guard along with marco and mikasa who forced to join and other, he was standing at the top of the building watching from the above even though the other had fell asleep on their shift he was wide awake and the noise coming from the trees didn't escaped his ears.

She just finished her meeting with reiner and bertlot. And was just walking in the huge forest she rambled between the trees without any fear, most of the people would be but not her it's been minutes since she walked through the huge trees.. thinking about everything her hometown, her family, her future but most importantly why this person was following her "when do you plan to show yourself?" She stopped walking waiting for him to walk under the light of the moon "what are you doing here annie?" She faced him with her full body "it doesn't concern you" well he was used to insults so he just chuckled "of course it does annie I'm on guarding and you shouldn't be outside here aren't you scared?" "Aren't you?" Then she stepped towards him "why do you care Jaeger?" She was now few steps far from him "Aren't we friends?" He watched her smirk just slightly "are we?" The smile on his face faded his bright features turned serious "why did you left?" He could see the confusion on her features "at the dinner you left when i tried to speak to you" "you tried? I don't think so" eren stepped forward defending himself "I did! But you left" she looked aside "it seemed to me that you were ignoring me" his eyes widened confused when did he ignored her he would never ever ignore her "I didn't annie I would never—" well he did and remembered now that he only greeted mina and chat with her only.. "a..annie I'm sorry i was nervous and I don't really know b..but I'm sorry " he was strange why was he apologizing he didn't do anything wrong "eren" she stopped him from saying more and he looked at her and for a second she thought he was going to cry well he was more feminine than any other guy maybe armin would beat him in that. "Are you upset?" He asked her a small part of him was happy he didn't know the reason but he was "No do what you want" she was leaving but he wouldn't just stare at her back again without doing anything "Annie!!" She stopped why was he screaming she was few feet far and why was he hiding his hands behind him and looking down what's wrong with his red cheeks and teary eyes "tomorrow!!" Again so loud "if ..if i ... i joined" and no it was so low "if I joined dinner tomorrow!!" She waited for him to speak and he should be grateful she wasn't a patient person but his eyes when he looked up where as a child "will you stay?"
