Chapter 11

Nick (P.O.V)

I sit in Nadine's driveway to drive her to school. We had not made an agreement to do this prior but I wanted to surprise her she comes outside looking beautiful as ever. She stops when she notices my car. I smile. She comes and sits in the passenger seat. We exchange a kiss.

"Did you sit here waiting for me all night? Does not seem like you moved an inch since I last saw you" she giggles.

"no, dummy. I went home and I came back to pick you up" I said before I gave her another kiss. Out of my own love for her one hand is on the wheel and another holding her hand.

When we get to school we are greeted by the crew, I catch Rebecca staring at us from afar. She looked away. Nadine's gaze fell on me. 

"love is there something wrong?" she asks, my arm was around her so she set her hand on mine. 

I come back to my senses and look her in the eyes.

"y-yeah... Sorry, I thought I saw Rebecca staring at us." I tell her with a smile. I kiss her soft lips as an apology and we go back to talking with our friends.

During lunch, I try to find Nadine but I have trouble completing the task. "NAD!" I yell her nickname across the empty halls. I almost pass the girls bathroom when Nadine storms out and hurries to me in an angry matter.

"Hey hey, what's wrong, babe?" I rarely called her that since we had other names that expressed our feeling better.

"WHAT IS THIS?" she asks as she holds up Rebeccas phone to show a text conversation between her and me. This was dated to last night. 

But I never texted her since we broke up.

"I did not text her, her phone must be wrong," I say

"That is not my biggest concern" she pauses and reads off the text messages 'we' supposedly had last night.

"HEY NICK ARE YOU GOING TO BREAK UP WITH HER YET" she yells as she reads.

"NOT UNTIL WE HAVE SEX. THEN I PROMISE I WILL DUMP HER AND COME BACK TO YOU. I WILL ALWAYS BE LOYAL TO YOU BECK. WHAT I TOLD NADINE WAS ALL LIES"

"I LOVE YOU SO MUCH NICK"

"I LOVE YOU TOO BECCA"

I could not believe what I was hearing.

I saw the fury in Nadine's eyes. She thinks I lied straight to her face and I can swear up and down that I did not send any of those texts.

"YOU LIED TO ME. RIGHT TO MY FACE NICK!" she yells as she tosses the phone against a locker. 

"Nadine I swear! I did not send any of those texts! I hate Becca!!! I love you!"

"SAVE IT!!! I SHOULD HAVE EXPECTED YOU WERE GOING TO BE NO DIFFERENT THEN EVERYONE ELSE IN MY LIFE! That is why you kissed my neck, is it not? You wanted to get me aroused so you could have sex with me sooner then dump me and be Rebeccas boy toy again!"

I could not believe all of this was coming out of my girlfriend's mouth.

"None of that is true!!! Nadine--"

"We are done!" she yells as she turns around and runs away. I see Rebecca walk out of the bathroom and my bloodstream boils in anger of what she had done. She attempts to flirt but I shove her away. I record our conversation to get her to admit that she did something so I can show Nadine.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM!?" I yell at her.

"MY PROBLEM IS YOU ARE DATING THAT LOSER AND NOT DATING ME"

"ARE YOU INSANE BECCA!? I LOVE NADINE. I HATE YOU" 

"YOU DO NOT THINK I SPOOFED THOSE TEXTS FOR A REASON!? I WANT TO BE WITH YOU!"

"HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU. IT IS OVER BECK."

"aw you called me by my nickname"

"Becca."

"You did it again!"

"REBECCA!!!" I yell as I ball my fists.

I walk up to her.

"It. Is. Over." I say firmly as I push her out of the way to find Nadine. I end the recording because now I have the proof.

When I find her I see her curled in a ball crying loudly next to Krista trying to comfort her. Her brother on another side of her patting her back. 

"Nadine"

"look dude you need to get the hell away from my little sister before we start to have some issues." Darian threatened as he stood up. 

"I have something to tell her it is important and I need to talk to her alone," I tell him.

"You already put her through enough pain, have you not?" Krista asks me. 

"Guys, I will be fine... Let us talk alone please and depending on how it goes I will come to find you again." Nadine says calm but timid as she was crying. They left and I sat next to her. I played the recording.

"I..." she began to speak but did not say anything after. I saw a crystal tear shimmer down her cheek. I put my hand on her cheek and wipe the tear away with my thumb. 

"I would never do something so horrible like that to you. Ever." I promised her. I whispered so I could keep her calm. "Do you believe me, dear?" I asked.

She was silent for a few seconds.

"I am sorry I blamed you... For lying," she whispered. Another tear slid down her cheek before I quickly wiped it away.

"I love you," she whispered as soft as a delicate flower petal floating to the ground.

"I love you too... I always will..." I whispered as I pulled her close for yet another sweet kiss.

After another day, I drive home with her. We do homework in the kitchen (because it has better lighting) And have alone time in her room. She lets me kiss her neck but before I did I saw something on her neck. I focus on it and I see that I gave her hickeys from last time. 

"my precious has hickeys..." I whisper as I let my teeth lightly tug on her earlobe.

"A proud sign of love" she whispered as I started to give her more. I heard her lightly moan and this just encouraged me to do it more. She was on her knees on her bed and so was I, behind her with my arms around her stomach. 

"You are killing me softly" she whispers.

"Yeah? How about this?" I whisper as I lay her down on the bed and kissed her passionately. I turned up my phone volume to play one of our favorite songs. 

I feel like I am drowning by Two Feet

It sounds like a sad one but actually, it is really romantic.

My hands travel to her back, my thumbs inside her shirt. She lifts her arms up, I stop for a brief moment. "are you sure?"

"hey shirts coming off are fine just as long as it does not get past the undergarments for now," she said out of breath from our kiss. I took off her shirt and she took off mine. I kissed down her neck and her arms. Then I traced back up her body to her lips.

After another day with her, I kissed her goodbye and drove back to my house wishing it never had to end.

I went to sleep that night knowing I removed Rebecca from all means of contact and that Nadine and I would have a date tomorrow after school, we were going out to dinner that we would both pay half for.

There are almost no words to describe the love I feel for her.
