It's funny isn't it?
How everyday we are asked to brace ourselves,
But yet we are taunted because
We aren't picture perfect!

It's funny isn't it?
How textbooks of our childhood teach us about equality,
But only blonde hair and blue eyes are considered
Pictures perfect!

It's funny isn't it?
How it's said we all are beautiful,
But our 'beauty' is set according to those models
Because they are picture perfect!

It's funny isn't it?
How you are given long lectures about self esteem,
Yet your textbooks show models as your ideal women
Idolizing them as picture perfect!

But guess what all of us are picture perfect
Just in different eyes,
Where beauty has new standards.
Where beauty is not defined.
It's funny isn't it?
