After I straightened my hair and Denver was outside with Black, I turned my attention to Deandre. He had a grimace smirk on his face that I was so ready to smack off. I looked at Tay & he nodded his head, giving me the signal that I was good. I stepped to Dre with mischievous thoughts running through my head. I didn't know if I really wanted to be responsible for my brother's death or if I wanted somebody else to hold this guilt. I struggled with this decision as Tay tied him up. I looked at Dre, wondering where in the HELL my brother went wrong. I sincerely wondered if this was him all along or if this was just a phase. "You can stop staring at me Deedra Monae." I slapped him, "Shut up Deandre!" I watched as his body flinched lightly and reddened because of me. I immediately knew I couldn't kill him. I'd have to give this burden to somebody else. "I'm sorry Tay.. I can't do this. Can we just, like, call the cops?" Deandre instantly laughed, making a mockery of me. "I knew you wasn't gonna do it. You're a COWARD.. much like your damn mother Deedra. I'm glad her dumb ass, and yours too, abandon me. THANK YA-" I shot him dead in the thigh. I hated when people talked bad about my mother- she did everything she could have to raise us correctly. "OUCH!! Deedra what the f..." I sent another bullet through his leg. This time, closer to his precious little testicles. I looked over to see where Tay'Shone stood and noticed the look on his face. His body language and facial expression spoke unreasonable volumes. I knew he wanted me to hurt Dre the way he'd hurt us but I couldn't. "Again, are you gonna kill me or is this just a show for your little boyfriend? Because really, I could be doing something different." Tay forcefully pushed me out of the way and took his gun from his side. He held it to Dre's forehead. I was shaking and praying, hoping he wouldn't really kill my brother.
