AN: This chapter happens at the same time as the end of Jaime I and also all Jaime II much later

Before I went to the North to join Jon Stark, Arya's brother, who, according to rumors was gathering the northern army to take back Winterfell, I was back on King's Landing, making weapons for the family that murder my father and killed his best friend. I heard many things in there. Like how the Boltons betrayed Robb Stark and murder him. I thought of Arya in that moment. I heard also of the death of Joffrey Waters, the bastard son of Jaime Lannister and his twin Cercei Lannister. I heard how they were named the new Wardens of the North. That's when I heard that Jon Snow, now Stark, as he was named the heir of Robb Stark, according to rumors. His father was Eddard Stark, the best friend of my father. I have to help him. So grabbed my hammer and my swords and bought a boat to White Harbor. On my trip, I saw Jaime Lannister but I choose to remained hidden. When we arrived, I saw as Theon Greyjoy talk to Jon Stark and how he forgive him and accept his help to take back his home. Also, Jon noticed that Jaime Lannister was there. They discust something I couldn't understand but I heard as Jon gave him the mission to rescue his brother, Rickon Stark, which Jaime Lannister accept. He then left with some northman to plan how to rescue him. I then went to him. I was with a hood. His guards stood close to him when I went to him.

"Your Jon Stark, right?" I asked

"That's right" he said "and you are?"

"I am Gendry" I answered "Robert Baratheon bastard son". I then put my hood away.

"I meet your father" Jon said then

"And I meet yours" I said

"Your a lot leaner" Jon said then as he laughed a bit.

"Your a lot shorter" I said to him. He laughed "I want to joined you, to retake your home, if you let me"

"You know how to use a sword?" Jon asked

"I do" I answered "but I prefer my hammer and I also brought this". I then show him my handwork of swords.

"Very well" Jon said "but before you join, there's something you need to know". He then passed some papers. When I read them, my eyes widened in surprised.

"Your father was Rhaegar Targaryen?" I said in a low voice. Jon nodded

"Do you still want to fight alongside me?" Jon asked

"I have nothing against Targaryens" I said "that was something of my father and it means we are kin"

"What do you mean?" Jon asked

"Well, for my father's grandmother" I answered "she was a Targaryen and it would mean, we are cousin's. Uncle or father, it doesn't matter who Ned Stark was to you, my father and him work to remove a mad ruler once and now is our turn". Jon smiled.

"Your right" he said as he showed me his hand. I grabbed and we shake hands "and for it being a Baratheon and Stark friendship once again, I named you Gendry Baratheon, lord of Mount Callin, if you accept"

"I don't know how to be a lord" I said in shame "but I will accept and learn"

"Then let's go to battle" Jon Stark said
