Winterfell was in ruins, even with all the repairs. The magnificent castle was shadow of it's former self. We waited until the mad bastard and his followers exit the castle and then we entered as common folk, looking for shelter. The guards were too dump or blind to see our daggers. We went to the cells, were we killed the guards silently and then put them in the cells. That's when I saw Rickon Stark. I went to him.
"Rickon Stark?" I asked in a low voice.
"Yes?" He said "here to mock me or kill me?"
"To rescue you" I said "your brother, Jon, he send me to bring you to him to safety but we have to hurry"
"Jon?" He said, his face showed happiness.
"Yes" I said "now, come on!". He stood up.
"Put this on and don't speak, just follow me, got it?" I said
"Yes" he answered. He put the clothes and put the hood in his head. We cross the yard and then went to the doors, the guards just open the doors, not caring for what we were doing. Once we got out, we went to the forest, where we grabbed our horses and went to the war camp. Just in time, as Jon and the other's were returning.
"King Jon" I said "I present you, prince Rickon Stark". As I showed them Rickon and the boy, not waiting any longer, he run to Jon and Sansa.
"Jon!. Sansa!" Said he said crying.
"Rickon!" Said Jon "I am glad your safe"
"He rescue me" said Rickon pointing at me.
"You fulllfilled your promise, ser Jaime" Jon said
"Ser Jaime?" Rickon said "you rescue me?"
"I send him to rescue you, to see if we could trusted him" Jon said "he brought you here to us, safe and sound"
"He did" Rickon said "but he also was at war with Robb but he went to all the trouble to rescue me from that mad bastard. So, thank you, ser Jaime"
"Your welcome, my prince" I said
"Welcome to the Wolf's guard" Jon said "and by the recommendation of Brianne of Tarth, you are the lord commander and you will see you else enters, besides Brianne". I kneeled to him "I want you to swore to me something" Jon said then
"Yes?" I asked
"If and only if you see that any of my descendants show any kind of madness or is cruel and sadistic, you will do what have to do". I looked at him. I told him why I killed Aerys and for he to ask me that.....
"But I am supposed to protect the king" I said confused
"Yes" Jon said "but you will the Wolf's guard have to protect the people as well"
"Okay" I said " I swear"
"Good" Jon said "now, let's retake Wintefell from that mad bastard"
