That day would particularly be marked in my journal.
The day, even my most favourite novel couldn't fill my heart with joy and suspense.
I was busy microwaving a bottle of milk that I had suddenly thought would cure my headache.
Milk?
Curing headache?
As dumb as I sound, I actually thought it would at least soothe my stomach or something.
The adrenaline rush was another thing,
I was still wondering how I'd respond to this weird situation.
"Hey! Busy?"
The most familiar voice said.
I turned to find my husband beaming at me?
Why are you smiling at me like that mister?
"Um.. so how is Oh Sehun as a man?"

awkwardly, looking at everywhere

I let out the most fake laugh to break the awkwardness but,
it worsened.
"Ha ha! Actually it was a joke!"

"What? I don't actually understand you?"
The smile on his face disappeared in a blink as he narrowed his eyes at me.

"Aha! I mean he wants to court me. You know? I-I introduced a lot of books to him and he kind of loved those so.... ha ha"
"Is that so? He looks pretty whipped for you."
He returned, thoughtfully.
"He keeps calling me dumb indirectly!"
I huffed.
"How?"
"He says I habve a low IQ amd that I am dense, weird and what not-"
"But how does he know I....?"
He raised a brow at me.
I felt like I was at a police station getting interrogated.
"I needed a friend so I ranted everything to him? Is that a problem? I only consider him as a friend and even if I don't..

I don't know how that came out of my mouth
but
I surely didn't like the way he was suddenly treating me.
"And why should I be the last person?"
He snapped back,
right at me.
I scoffed,
"Isn't this some different level of hypocrisy, Baekhyun-ssi?
You get to have a second wife but I can't even have someone beside me?"
"Woah woah! You agreed to this, didn't you? You are turning the tables now. I-"
"Turning the tables? Mind your language, Baekhyun.
We both agreed to mind each other's business and not interfere.

Baekhyun was baffled,
he was so used to
me always being a quiet and chill person.
He was so used to thinking I was a book freak
with no emotions and thoughts on reality.
But
I am a human
after all.
I have
