DESTINY - A Fan-Fiction on Avneil

Chapter 2

People usually say that a person who opts for alcohol when problem comes are cowards, because, at the end of the day, the intoxication will go away and they will have to face the reality, even if it is good or not. But what those who say it don't know is that those people are tired, they are exhausted of fighting and facing the reality, they really want to give up on everything.

Neil is sitting in his lavish apartment where every ray of sunlight can peep into it, dancing wholeheartedly, trying to lighten his mood. He have been drinking alcohol for the past 2 hours, his hand are still holding the empty bottle, he crashed it a while ago and it broke, piercing the glass right into his hand, blood was oozing out continuously, but he doesn't care, because he is still deep in the thought of Avni, his mistake of rejecting her and not telling her what he thought is the truth. Hot tears brimming in his eyes, fighting to get out from the corner of it. He shut his eyes, trying to get a glimpse of her, or maybe just as simple as the shadow of her is enough to make him smile. He blamed himself for everything she had to suffer because of him. How can he forget the conversation between him and her dearest sister a while ago?

Flashback:

- Neil, we need to talk, please meet me at Ali's cafe, the Chamko at sharp 9 am!

Some time later, at Ali's cafe:

- Now can you tell me what has actually happened between you two??? Juhi was very concerned when she saw Neil in a devastated state, she can get a glimpse of his eyes, they are just like those of pandas. She immediately smell something fishy is going on between the two lovebirds.But Neil was not in the state of saying anything, he bow his head down, not ready to face his sister.

- Neil, if you don't tell me anything, how can I know what exactly is happening between you two?

Just then Juhi put her hand on Neil's shoulder, assuring him that everything will be OK. He lift his head up, removing his glasses, only for Juhi to be shocked...

- Bhai!!! Juhi whispered in disbelief. She can't believe that the person who stole her sister's heart is her cousin who she haven't meet for 10 years as Neil's family shifted to Australia and they lost contact. He is still the same, his brown eyes, his chubby cheeks, his broken smile... Her eyes are now full of unshed tears, she immediately embrace him in her hug, they both are crying, but the only person who is shocked is Juhi, because Neil have met Juhi already as she picks Avni up from college every single day. But then reality strikes her!

- Don't tell me that you broke up with Avni because of this silly reason! Because you thought that Avni is my sister. Juhi said, chuckling in between. 

" Yes, Avni is your sister, Paa told me that!..." Neil said unknowingly, but broke the track " wait..what? ... what do you mean by THOUGHT?  Isn't she your sister?" Neil is now confused, his eyes trying to search for answers from his long-lost sister.

" No, actually Avni is my adoptive sister, her real name is Anvi, and she is actually Ayesha massi's daughter ( Juhi called Ayesha massi) , one of Maa's best friend who died of domestic violence due to her own husband. Her father then trying to trade the little girl for gambling. But luckily, Maa came to know about it and rescued her, she then have to change her name so that her father can never keep his eyes on her. Since then she lived with us. Paa and Maa never mistreated her, in fact, they treated us the same, so that outsiders never doubt about our relationship" Juhi smiled, remembering the happy days they spent together. But on the other side of the table is Neil with a totally opposite feeling...

"No! It can't be! I made an ugly mistake...now please tell me where can I find my Avni???"  Neil is shocked, never in his dreams did he thought of the moment.

"I can't help you, I promised her..." Juhi said, Avni's words still ringing in her ears :" Promise me you WILL NOT tell Neil ANY information about my whereabouts..." 

A frustrated Neil then leaved the table, not before whispering at Juhi " Never mind, I will find her by hook or crook, you sit and watch the show!!!" He picked up his sunglasses and wear it, walking out of the Cafe.

Neil's POV:

My hands are still paining of the piercing glass into my flesh, just like my heart at the moment, but I am sure the pain I am experiencing is nothing compared to what Avni have went through. The picture of her hurt face, her brimming eyes, trying to seek the truth from me, it seems that her eyes are full of unsaid words when I told her that I have no feelings for her, and it is just an attraction, it is trying to convince herself to not broke down in front of me, trying to convince her ears that what she heard it not true, and it is just a bad dream, it will vanish as soon as she wakes up...those pictures are continuously flashing right before his eyes, like a early time movie, very fast, it is driving me crazy. She stole my heart, I crushed her heart into pieces, and here I am, trying to find pieces of my own broken heart that I crushed along with hers, in the dark,like a mad man . I asked myself what she may be feeling right now, at the new land that she chooses to erase every single memory between us? This girl is very smart, she chooses the easiest option - running away from reality, I should congratulate her for that! But little did I know that she have think of it wisely before taking such a harsh decision, I only realize it later on. 

 Everything around me is just complete silence, the wind is blowing past my ears, whispering me something, but I can't hear anything, because I can only feel it, the leaves out there are falling, they are not falling instantly, they are falling lightly and quietly, every corner of the leaves reaching out to touch the wind, trying to inhale in every drop of the fresh air out there. Nature out there is trying to move on, from Summer to Winter, but can I? I asked myself...I just hope that I can get off this thrilling roller coaster, I am tired, I don't want to be offered a free ticket and ride on it anymore. Life don't go according to your wish, do it? Life is just like a novel, full of adventures. The only thing that differentiate a novel and life is that, when you don't want to read a novel anymore, you close it, right? Then nothing happens, and you have to continue living your life and rule it like a boss. But in life, if you don't want to experience those adventures anymore, the thing is not simply close it anymore, there are two options - to move on, or to end everything, anyway, the second option will make you not stressed anymore, but in the other hand, it spreads sadness among my dear people around me. That is why I promise myself that I will move on, and pretend that nothing has ever happened, even though I can't really believe in myself. And about the chapter of Avni, I made my mind that it will forever be a past chapter. I will fix my broken heart by myself, not caring of some missing pieces that she brought with her to the new land, I smiled at my silly thoughts, as I know it will be almost impossible for me to get over her. She left me alone, shattered!

Oh, finally, finished writing the unexpected chapter. Anyway, how is this chapter??? Is it good or bad??? I just want you guys to know that every single response from each of you means a lot to me, it encourages me to keep on writting!!!

I plan to introduce the villain in the next chapter, and also Avni's daughter too. Any suggestions of the name for the little girl guys??? 

P/s: Please, don't suggest any name related to that Dipti K's ek bhram...blah...blah..., I'm sick of that Starflush's saas-bahu drama already, in case if any of you - my dear readers, are watching the show, increasing it's TRPs...

And also, do you want the lil girl to be Avneil's daughter or Avni and the villian's daughter???
