Another day comes, and do you know what does it equally means? It equally means that I - Avni Mehta, have to face my past again. But is he really my past? I asked myself, and I don't think so. The whole yesterday night, I was thinking about him only. Do you know why?

My mind is now only occupied with Aanya's voice about the mystery man she met yesterday. As the whole night she was only chatting to me about one thing - Mr. Monkey as she called him. Her melodious voice yet irritating just keep playing inside my head, nonstop, like a record.

... His face resembles a guava...

...He was not really tall...

... Do you know what, he has big eyes ... veeeery big eyes ... just like a black cat...

...He also has beard, like Paa...

...Maa, don't pressurize me to remember how he talk, he sounds like a frog!

( Who remembers the scene when Neil recorded Avni's voice in the jungle, without knowing that she is describing him only? Anyone else? Or only me? )

By the way she described the mysterious man, my mind is only playing flashbacks of one person - Neil Khanna. But is it possible that Aanya have just met her dad? It can be...

What will eventually happen if Neil come to know about his daughter? Will he take Aanya away from me? Just a mere thought of it in my mind send shivers to my spine already! Of course I can't let that happen to me, Aanya is the only reason I am still here today, in front of everyone, and fighting against the world full of narrow-minded people who loves to label others for things that they have no choice to choose, and I always ended up being depressed at the end of the day. I have gotten used to it already.

That is why I am thinking of not letting Aanya roaming around my office in work hours anymore, as I know very well that the amount of time I have to face him will not end soon. Prakash uncle and I have already discussed about this deal for a pretty long time already, and he had high hopes on me, of course I can't let him down, can I?

I felt the urge of calling Ali, my best friend into my cabin.

Aanya and Ali really get on well with each other, they immediately stick to each other from the first time they met! Their bond some times even makes me wonder whether she loves her Mr. Maggie more than her love for me, and whether Ali has some kind of superglue that made her forget all of her surroundings and stick to him right at the moment she sees him in front of her eyes!

Ali is just like Aanya's best friend, and I totally trust him with my daughter. That is why I called him in my cabin, to tell him not to let Aanya go anywhere near my office building.

After a great amount of time I wasted in order to persuade him to keep Aanya away, he finally agreed to me!

- Avni, what so important business does that young man have to discuss with you in the cabin? I heard his voice, again, it is the same voice that makes me fall for him, but the only difference is that it is full of envy this time.
