Wanda's POV

"Wanda, we get that you are upset but we simply aren't prepared to take the Light on at this moment." Wonder Woman tried to be gentle, to stop my emotions from spiking but we were well past that point.

"You 'get' that I'm upset? Do you now? Then why aren't we charging into Lex Corps and smashing skulls?" I roared, the furniture around me pushing back by the mere force of my outburst. "They need to pay for what they have done."

"And they will, but rushing into things will not solve anything." Batman glared, trying to intimidate me. I held my ground, returning the look as my hands sparked with energy.

"You will let me go to Lex Corp." I demanded, grinning when the two Justice Leaguers stepped aside without another word. "Thank you for your compliance."

"Wanda, you promised not to use -"

I cut M'gann off with a snarl, making the Martian shrink back. "When it is your evil clone defiling your good name and killing innocents, then you get to lecture me about not using my powers on the Justice League." M'gann nodded shakily, her fear of me so obvious I almost felt bad for snapping. Almost.

My team and I continued the walk towards the bioship in a tense silence, nobody daring to say a word in case I snap at them. Whatever, the silence helps me get in the zone. Once we were all strapped in and ready to go, I reached out with my connection to my clone to sense where she and the rest of the Light were.

"They are not at Lex Corp anymore. It seems they have moved the operation to...the Isle of Shadows? What?" I grit my teeth, double and triple checking to make sure I got the location correct. "Oh well, two birds with one stone, I guess."

"Wanda, what are you planning?" Pietro asked, and for the first time in our lives I sensed fear on him. A fear of me.

I sighed, shaking my head as I watched the passing scenery. "Do not worry about it, brother dearest. The less you know, the better."

I don't like the sound of that...

Me neither.

I rolled my eyes at my team's thoughts, blocking them out for the rest of the flight as I played with the energy in my hands. Watching the scarlet rivers flow between my finger tips and back into my palms soothed the rage boiling over within me, but only just a tad. I still needed my anger, still had a use for it.

We came up on the Isle of Shadows much quicker than I was expecting, much quicker than the last trip we made here. M'gann put the ship in cloaking mode before we made our descent, landing effortlessly in the trees of the island. When we were all accounted for, I decided to speak through the mind link to let everyone know what was up.

This mission is mine. I know you all came along, but you can back out now if you want to. I am not going to ask you to do anything you aren't comfortable with. And FYI, Wally, I did call the Justice League in on this. They will be here shortly.

Wanda...what are you planning? What won't we be comfortable with?

These demons violated me, they must pay with their lives. They cannot get away with this.

Wanda -

I told you, none of you have to come along. But I am going through with this, with or without back up.

My teammates all hesitated a moment before Jason stepped forward and took my hand, squeezing it with a silent nod of approval. Pietro was next, glaring slightly at Jason. The rest of my friends all nodded their heads, albeit some reluctantly and then we were off, moving almost silently through the underbrush of the forest. I paused for a second to reach through the connection with my clone slightly to see where on the island they were, but in doing so opened another channel of communication. I stumbled back against a tree as I clutched my head, staying conscious this time as I felt my clone's voice in my head, which was identical to my own, except for the lack of emotion.

I see you have found us, dear sister. I suppose you are here to put an end to me. Shame, really. Here I thought we could conquer the world together, remake it in our image.

With a psychopathic puppet like you? Never.

But the thought has crossed your mind, hasn't it?

...

I see. Well, hurry up and come to us. We are waiting in the courtyard. Don't be late.

I grunted, punching the tree behind me. The others turned to look at me curiously. "They know we are here. Come on, they are in the courtyard of the main building." Before we could take another step, a dozen or so figures dropped from the sky and surrounded us. I rolled my eyes when I saw the familiar cape and cowl. "Move, Batsy, you're in the way."

"Wanda, listen to us. We scouted ahead, we are way outnumbered. This is suicide." Green Arrow tried, and failed, to reason with me.

I snorted, allowing my eyes to turn scarlet as the energy flowed through me and into the ground and surrounding rocks, trees, and plant life. I smirked when I felt the molecules begin to change into more formidable warriors, the rocks and plants becoming armed soldiers. My friends and their mentors gasped when they saw this, looking at me in a mix of awe and horror. I just shrugged. "You were saying, Mr. Queen?" The adult heroes stuttered as the army I created looked to me for orders, falling into formation with a flick of my wrist. "Anyone you do not see here is an enemy. Kill them." I ordered to the dismay of the heroes. When Batman went to protest my orders, I glared at him and surprisingly shut him up.

"Well, you seem to be in charge here, Wanda. What are our orders?" Green Lantern drawled semi-sarcastically, earning him a telekinetic flick to the forehead. "Ow!"

I nodded once I had everyone's attention, satisfied that everyone was on the same page. "Like I told my team, I don't expect any of you to do something you're not comfortable with. But for me, I plan on wiping all of these miserable cretins of the face of this earth. And yes, Captain Marvel, that means I am killing them dead." I looked to Artemis when she cleared her throat. "Except for maybe your sister. I'll leave her for you to deal with however you want."

"Thanks."

Satisfied that all the heroes now knew where I stood, I turned to lead the charge to the courtyard. We continued on foot, needing the time to mentally prepare for the fight that would surely be the fight of our lives. I was ready for this, so what if I had to kill? My ledger was already soaking with red, why not dunk it a few more times in blood? Besides, these miserable excuses for humans and living beings had it coming for a long time.

Nobody messes with Wanda Maximoff and her family. Nobody.

With a new determination and a skip in my step, I paused when we reached the top of the hill overlooking the massive establishment that served as the headquarters for the League of Shadows. I smirked, cracking my knuckles. I get to take out Ra's Al Ghul, the man who ordered my murder and hired my twin to execute me, at the same time I destroy the Light. What are the odds?

Observing the Light's army from above, I grinned widely when I realized we were evenly matched number wise. Turning around to face the heroes once more, I asked again if anyone wanted to back out. Jason pushed his way to the front and strode right up to me, planting a kiss on my lips for a split second before pulling away with a cocky grin.

"We are true lovers, remember? And that means we support each other's crazy revenge schemes, no matter what."

I slapped his shoulder lightly, ignoring my brother's glare as we continued as a group on foot towards the huge courtyard. Nobody dared break the silence. We were all in our own little worlds and that was, frankly, what we all needed at the moment.

Once we stood outside the gates, I decided to be cheeky and knock. The gates swung open and I stood face to face with my clone, the Light standing confidently behind her and their army of assassins behind them. I heard somebody behind me gulp loudly but I ignored them, continuing on with my quest of vengeance.

"Hi, I'm Wanda Maximoff and I'm here to kick your asses."
