It was night now and I was just in my room standing on the balcony looking at the moon in the rain. I have always loved the dark more than daylight; it made me more happy and alert. The rain on the other hand bothered me but I can deal with it to a point. Madam Red and the young master were downstairs playing chess and Sebastian was serving them tea. I had nothing to do and the young master told me to go to my room and sleep but I was not tired so I decided to practice my fighting skills in the garden. I jumped over the railing and landed to the ground soundlessly.
I looked up at a window and saw Sebastian looking at me; I smiled and whispered, "Watch this." He nodded as I raised my right hand over my chest seeing it glow, I slid my hand through grabbing my sword and pulled it out. The glow vanished and I looked back at Sebastian and he had a shocked expression, I giggled as I twirled it around in my hands.
I stayed outside for a few more minutes slicing the air, twirling my sword, and trying hard not to use my powers. I eventually started getting cold and decided to go back into my room. I brought my sword above my chest and slid it through causing the glow to come back then vanish again. I jumped to the railing of the balcony and jumped over; I walked into my room, closing the balcony doors behind me, and went to my bathroom. My clothes were soaked but I was smart enough to bring an extra maid uniform, I knew we would be going to find Jack the Ripper tonight so I kept my nightgown in my bag. I quickly changed out of my wet maid uniform and into a dry one and grabbed a towel to dry my hair. I walked out of the bathroom and Sebastian was sitting on my bed smiling. I looked at him as he said, "I'm impressed at your powers."
"Well I have a lot more you haven't seen."
"Oh. Like what?"
"Well I can create a bow and unlimited arrows with someone's blood, I can kill someone with a sudden glance, and the list goes on."
"Very interesting."
"Yeah. It's a good thing I can't get sick being in the rain."
"Agreed."
"So question, when are we leaving to find Jack the Ripper?"
"I guess you knew we were going to solve the case tonight."
"Of course."
"Well that's why I was in here. I was coming to get you."
"Well let's go." I said grabbing his hand and pulling him with me out of my room.
Sebastian chuckled and said, "You don't have to pull."
"Well I can if I want to."
The three of us were standing by the entrance of Mary Kelly's home, the next target of Jack the Ripper's list. I was sitting on the ground in a torn up black dress, the young master made me change, with my eyes closed and was listening to the young master talking, "It's true that apart from missing their internal organs, they also have "something in common"." Then I smelled another cat, "However, must that person really need to go around killing people? And I... DID YOU LISTEN ME SEBASTIAN?"
I opened my eyes and looked at Sebastian; he was holding a cat, which made me mad, "Ah, I'm so sorry. My mind wandered off."
"That's not cool Sebby." I mumbled low enough for only Sebastian to hear. He let go of the cat and scratched to top of my head, I leaned into his touch purring until we heard a loud scream."
"What? But no one went inside." I stood up just as the young master said, "Let's go!"
We ran to the door and the young master opened the door. Blood splattered against his cheek as Sebastian covered his eyes and said, "Don't look!" I covered my mouth seeing blood everywhere and then noticed a dark shadow. "That was rather over the top, it's all over the floor, "Jack the Ripper". No, Grell Sutcliff."
