The Story of the Original Four Elements

The next morning, Gemma woke up from her room and was confused about how she got here. Then, there was a knock on the door. "Come in.", she replied. The door opens and it was Jasper.

"Oh, Jasper.", Gemma smiled. "Morning. Did you sleep well?", he asked. "I slept well, thanks for asking.", Gemma replied with a smile. Jasper looks at her leg wound under the cover.

"How's your leg?", Jasper asked. "It's good.", Gemma replied. "I'm glad you're ok.", Jasper replied, as he stood up and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

Then there was another knock on the door. "Come in.", Jasper called out. The door opened and Ben and Maddie came in. "Sorry to interrupt but Charles wants all of us to meet him and Selina in his studies.", Ben replied.

"We'll be right there.", Jasper replied. Ben and Maddie then leaves. Gemma moves the covers off her legs and Jasper slowly moves both of her legs to the side and helps her stand up.

Jasper attempts to carry her, but she turns him down. "Jase, I'll be fine. Let me just...", she replied, as she takes one step forward, but unfortunately she nearly falls.

Jasper catches her by the waist and lifts her into his arms. "Come on.", Jasper replied, as he walks to Charles' study room with Gemma in his arms.

At the study room, Charles was sitting by his desk, with Selina standing behind him. Ben and Maddie were standing in front of his desk. Jasper and Gemma arrives and Jasper puts Gemma onto a chair and stood next to Ben.

Charles began to speak, "Jasper, Gemma, Ben and Maddie, you guys are the chosen Four Elements that I've been searching for all these years.", Charles replied.

"What are you talking about, Grandpa?", Jasper asked. "What do you mean that we're the chosen Four Elements?", Ben asked.

"Let me you story of the original Four Elements, where I was the leader of the original team.", Charles replied. Everyone became interested in the story as they looked at him, as Charles starts telling his story to them.

"Long ago, in the land of the four nations, two boys and two girls where born from each nation and all were gifted of an element from their own nation; water, earth, fire and air! I was born from the Fire Nation and had the fire element. I formed a group of four with each element, and we were called the Four Elements. I was the leader of the group, and I met this beautiful girl from the Water Nation", Charles replied.

Then Jasper interrupted the story. "Wait! You fell in love with the girl from the Water Nation?", Jasper asked. Charles nods his head, looking at an old photo of him and the girl. "Yes, I did. Anna was her name. I loved her since I first saw her, our love was so strong between fire and water. We were a team for 2 years until our rivals, the Lightning Nation attacked our home. We fought and against them, until something happened.", Charles sighed.

"What happened?", Jasper asked. Charles didn't say anything until Selina intervened. "Anna happened!", she replied.

Charles began to have flashbacks of what happened that day, where his younger self was fighting the Lightning Nation with Anna, and two other teammates Aron, the earth element and Nina, the air element.

"Anna, can you please give me a hand over here?", he asked. But Anna didn't answer back. Charles turned around and saw Anna, turning water into ice shards. She aims them at Charles, Aron and Nina.

"Anna, what are you doing?", Charles asked. Anna started crying and could barely speak. "I'm so sorry, Charlie. I love you, but I have to do this!", Anna cried. She shoots her ice shards at her former teammates, killing Aron and Nina, but Charles dodged and escaped.

Then the flashbacks returned to the present, where Charles remained quiet. "Anna betrayed him, Jasper.", Selina replied. "What?", Jasper asked. Then, Charles began to remember the past again, where he fought Anna and escaped from her and the Lightning Nation.

The flashbacks stopped, and Charles spoke again "She betrayed me, the woman I loved, hurt me.", Charles sighed. "Why didn't you fight back?", Jasper asked. Selina looked at Jasper "He did.", she said.

"I did everything I could to destroy her, but I couldn't. The more powerful she became, the more weaker I had become.", Charles sighed.
