Chapter 10 - Explanation

Nayeon POV

Today we are relaxing inside of our dorm, I want to go to ryujin but I remembered what happen. It's been a few days after what happen between me and ryujin, he text me and call me like usual but I've been avoiding him ever since.

I haven't reply to his text or answer his call, not because I hate him but I don't know what will I say to him, I know that I like him too but I'm too shy to say it.

"unnie why are you spacing out again? Is it about what happen?" mina asked me.

I look at her an nodded, my member already know what happen because apparently they see what happen, they likes to eavesdrop when I'm with him and apparently they saw his 'confession'.

"Why can't you just accept his confession unnie? We know that you like him too" sana said. "Yeah it's not like we against it or something" mina said

"girls it's not that simple, we still have our dating ban and even If it's end tomorrow and even if we accept him what will JYP PDnim said, he could enforce the contract and make unnie and ryujin oppa break up" jihyo explain.

"I didn't know if PDnim being serious or just teasing me" I said "can't you just asked him again unnie?" jeongyeon said "tomorrow IS the day our dating ban lifted why can't you asked PDnim again?"

I don't know what to do, should I? I just hope that PDnim let me date ryujin

"maybe I will asked him again" I said "can we come too? we want to show our support for you to PDnim so he understand" dahyun asked and I just nodded

The next day we get the manager to drive us to our company and meet JYP PDnim, we get to the door and I knock on the door, I heard a "come in" and we entered and see JYP PDnim is preparing to go out

"excuse me PDnim do you have a moment?" I asked "sure girls what is it? Isn't it supposed to be your day off?" He ask "yes, but we want to ask you something sir" jihyo said "it's about what you said" he give us a confused look "about?" here goes nothing "were you serious about that I can date ryujin?" he froze a moment, oh no did I do the wrong thing? My mind just stop working at this point, I didn't knew that ryujin never told me that.

"so he's your godson?" I asked "yeah, when his parent died because of the car crash I asked him if he want to stay with me, but he doesn't want it, he said that he doesn't want to become a burden for me and he said that he will be just fine since he's already an adult. I let it go and try to convinced him to join our company to be a trainee and that i might debut him soon as solo or in another group since he's already a good singer and dancer but he don't want that, he said if he want to be an idol he don't want it because of me knowing him personally he want to work his way from the bottom up, he don't want any special treatment just because he have the connection, he want to and I quote him 'work my ass off so I deserved it' so when people know his name they will know him as Ryujin not as the godson of JYP" I'm baffled at what I just hear, a lot of people will jump the gun at the opportunity or they would use their connection to make it but not him.
