Look into your mind to imagine
A scary creature of the future
We conjure up a bizarre image
That has none of the esthetics
That we associate with life
Yet the machine is efficient
And endures the rigors of spaceflight
Much better than we meat bags
Artificial intelligence is so new
It threatens our very existence
Because it represents life
That could represent us
To the vast universe
