We're Just Living In It

Part 2- Who the hell are you

We decided to take the elevator down to the first floor instead of the stairs because of that thing. We headed down and the whole ride was silent. We entered the lobby and quickly hurried outside. As soon as we stepped out the doors there was chaos everywhere.

"Wow I almost didn't believe you. These people are freaking out." Exclaimed Maggie a worried look on her face.

"We better hurry if we want to get anything I bet a ton of people already went to the Pharmacy." Keagan said. I kinda almost forgot he was there.

We walked past a tall building and the sun shined brightly into my eye. I squinted and almost walked past the Pharmacy. I began to step into the road and was pulled back as a car zoomed by.

" Oh my god thank you so much!" I said to a random guy. After I got a good look at his face I realized this guy was handsome. He gorgeous dirty blonde hair that matches perfect with his freckles.

"No problem." And just like that he was gone I didn't even get his name.

"Hey Em come on already we need to hurry back it's like a riot out here!" And with that I heard a window break as a tv was thrown out. Is there something that I don't know I thought as I opened the Pharmacy door. We quickly grabbed some Gauze and some more things to clean my wound. We grabbed some pills for my pain. As we paid and stepped out the door we heard screaming and a ton of people running our way.

"What the hell is happening!" Keagan said as he began to grab me and Maggie. Suddenly a guy ran up to us and grabbed Maggie arm.

"The world is ending. It's ending." He wailed and wouldn't let go. The running people began to catch up to us bumping into us every time.

"Hey you need to back off" Keagan moves towards the man and he took off. We began to move with the people again when we looked and saw a woman tackle a man. She started chewing on his arm and he screamed in agony.

"What the hell is happening!" Maggie yelled over all the screams around us. 

We began to move with the crowd trying to find our way back to the hotel. People were bumping into us from all angles. Maggie started to fall, but Keagan quickly caught her. We soon reached the front entrance and sprinted towards the stairs. As I opened the door that man came busting out!

"Shit! I forget that was in there" He ran after me and I tried to look for something to defend myself.

"Hey over here." Keagan yelled as the thing got distracted.

I ran into the kitchen and found a small knife. It's worth a shot. As I ran out the thing had Keagan trapped a corner. I ran over to it grabbed the collar of his shirt and tried to pull him over. It was no use he turned around and headed straight for me. I dropped my knife and I knew this was it for me. I closed my eyes and got sprayed with blood. I opened my eyes to see  the guys head detached from his body with Maggie standing over the guy with an axe.

"I found it." Her voice trembling as she spoke. "You know in one of the in case of emergency things. I didn't kill a person right that thing isn't alive right?" Tears we're falling down her face.

"I don't think so. That thing is far from a human." Keagan said pulling Maggie towards him.

"What kind of monster is that." I finally said using a napkin to wipe the blood off my face. "I think we should leave." I began to stay but Maggie interrupted me.

"What about all of our stuff!" She whined

"I have everything I need right here." I explained grabbing a hold of the necklace that my parents got me. "And besides we need to find a safer place than this!" I spoke as I pointed around the room.
