I sat there in the hospital waiting for some type of news praying to got my dad was still alive
"Hello,your sanjay right?" ,Says a doctor
The doctor was a very tall man,a brownskin who was around my age which is around 22,he looked so familiar,but I couldn't put my finger on it
"Yes*sniff*",I say
"I'm doctor treden wills,and I've come to inform you good and bad news"he says with a sigh" which one you want"
He talks a certain way like a boy I went to school with back in highschool
"Maybe it is him" I whisper
"Excuse me ma'am are you alright"he says with a slight smile
"Yea I'm good ,oh and umm I'll take the bad news first just to get it over with" I say
"We'll we have found out that your father was an addict 2 years ago"he says
"Wait what no your lying, this is the first and only time my father has been on some type of drug"i say in anger
"Was there ever a point in your life where your father was gone for a long period of time"he ask
" Yes right before my mom died but that was because he was on a business trip for a 6 months" I say
"Sanjay it says here for 6 months your father was in a rehabilitation center,but good news is he wide awake- sanjay you good"he says while walking towards me
I stand up for a minute,I can't move all of a sudden everything goes black

I wake up to the smell of handsantizer and rubber,as I feel the cold air on me
"sanjay are you alright would you like some water,trust me fainting from these situations is a very com-"
"Faint?so my father was really in rehab"I interrupt him
"*sigh* yes he was and he has to go back for another 6 months" he says
" Can I see him please?"
He doesn't answer but looks at me in a strange way like I'm familiar to him and then a year drops from his eyes,but his quickly wipes it away and takes me to my father

"WHEN WERE YOU GONNA TELL ME THIS DAD" I yell fighting tears
"Jay please sweetheart listen to me I can explain-"
"EXPLAIN WHAT ,HOW YOU WERE AND ADDICT AND WENT AWAY FOR 6 MONTHS AND LIED TO OUE WHOLE FAMILY SAYING IT WAS A BUSINESS TRIP,DAD WE COULD HAVE STOPPED THIS SITUATION A LONG TIME AGO ,AND HOW DID U EVEN GET THE DRUGS ,WAS IT FROM A DRUG DEALER IN ARE OWN HOOD?"
"Yes......it was,sweetheart I was in a.."
"A WHAT SPILL IT OUT DAD"
" A GANG OKAY ,I WAS IN A GANG I GOT ADDICTED AND WAS USING THEY PRODUCT THAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO SELL,THEY TOLD ME THAT I WOULD BE DEAD SOON,SO I CHECKED MYSELF INTO REHAB,NOT ONLY TO HELP MY ADDICTION BUT SO HOPEFULLY THEY WOULD FOR GET ABOUT ME BUT CLEARLY THEY DIDN'T"
I pause for a sec I look at him and replay his words "clearly they didn't"
"Dad were you the reason sis and mom was killed"
He looks at me tears in his eyes
"Sweetheart I-"
I Run out the room my heart filled with anger eyes filled with tears,my mom and sis was killed by a gang,only right I get my revenge on the person who did it,its only right besides they probably coming for me next.
